During the past two years or so I have had an ongoing health problem and have always been able to have a face to face appointment if necessary. However, recently I have had any queries answered quickly by email, which has helped to deal with my problem. I have been a patient at this surgery for over 32 years and have always received excellent care.

I have always found the medical practitioners very helpful and informative. Any issues that I have had I have received a prompt and professional reply and if not able to deal with via email, appointments have been made for me to attend for a face to face review to resolve

Honestly cannot fault this practice. Too notch care always and such lovely receptionists and great Dr's and nurses - 10/10 would recommend :)

My doctor knows me. He’s always available to see me and reassure me. I can always get an appointment. I feel looked after and cared for.

The practice manager quickly and seamlessly helped me in registering my proxy access for my son, so I could order his repeat meds. I was so grateful for her help. Also, in general, the practice goes out of its way to see me or my son, as quickly as they possibly can. I feel lucky to have this as our local practice.

Recently moved to the area with a new born (as you can imagine- stressful first weeks home) , based on my post code, this practice covered the my area. I was recommended this practice by a colleague who also lives close by. I research online to see how to registered with this GP and had phone the practice on a Friday, they advise me to come into the practice to get the forms and bring necessary paperwork, however upon walking into the practice to do so only 2 days later (Monday), I was turn away and told, they are shortlisted, full booked as they are a small GP, only have 1 GP covering the entire practice and that they are not accepting new clients and to go register elsewhere.

Park Road Medical Centre has been our family GP for over 20 years. Whenever we have a problem, minor or more serious, they respond quickly and effectively, often the same day or soon after. Can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely fabulous doctors surgery, unfortunately I’m not allowed to mention names but I can’t thank my doctor enough. He is always there for me, so supportive and caring. Can never do enough to care for me and full genuine concern for my welfare! Which I’ve desperately needed this last 22 months after being diagnosed with several auto immune diseases and other long term illnesses- i honestly would have coped without him and a huge thanks to the family team at the surgery.

I had a painful shoulder and was offered an appointment with the practice nurse the same afternoon. An appointment to see the physio at the surgery was arranged for a couple of weeks later. The following morning a call from the surgery offered me a physio appointment that had become free that afternoon. The efficiency of the surgery staff is exemplary. I'd seen the physio and had a batch of exercises within 36 hours of my first contact.

I have been with this surgery for over 30 years and can't believe I haven't reviewed it sooner. This is an exceptional practice with amazing staff, who all give excellent patient care. My partner, son and dad are also registered here and we all agree that the staff are caring, compassionate and take the time to listen to your concerns. We always receive a response on the same day and emails are answered within 24 hours, even on Bank Holidays! My dad, who is now 72, had not visited a GP for over 30 years. During the lockdown in 2020 I encouraged him to register here. He was very anxious but agreed. Now he regularly tells me how kind and considerate the doctors are and is constantly surprised at how helpful and efficient all of the staff are. Needless to say he no longer fears going to the doctors. The doctors here always go the extra mile and have recently helped my dad with housing issues. They have also supported me with obtaining a second opinion, resulting in a far less invasive operation than originally planned. We all feel incredibly lucky to be registered at this surgery and can't recommend them highly enough.
