My family and I have been deeply fortunate to have the care of the doctor, nursing, midwifes and other staff for over 11 years. To provide constant first class service and support over this length of time is not easy, yet at every turn Oxted Health Centre have been there for us. There have been many deeply challenging moments in this time, yet they always deliver what is needed with such dedication and patient centred approach. Congratulations Oxted Health Centre - you're a first class practice.

I have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years and initially it was brilliant and the whole family were well looked after. I now can't believe how bad it has become - todays experience just highlighted that. My daughter is recovering at home from major surgery and we had run out of sterile strips to dress the wound, and sterile wipes. I visited the surgery to ask if the nurse could let me have a few and was told by the receptionist (who did refer the request) that my daughter would have to ask her own GP or visit the hospital. Her GP is an on line NHS GP. The surgery was done privately which alleviated the pressure on the NHS. I am sure that East Surrey Hospital could well do without requests like this and it only needed a bit of common sense by Oxted Surgery. If you are thinking about registering with a GP at this surgery I would suggest you consider your decision very carefully. I have tried to make a complaint on the GP surgeries own web site but there does not appear to be a complaint form - I suspect because they would be inundated.

Comment reference number: 1581278 Your Review: After speaking to a very helpful receptionist yesterday afternoon, as suggested I attended the surgery at 8am the next day to request an appointment. I was fortunate to get an appointment the very same morning at 9.15 with the Doctor I requested. My appointment with the doctor was on time and she was very thorough and advised me in clear detail regarding my concerns. Over the last 12/18 months the help and great service from the receptionists and the Doctors, I have received has been excellent. Many thanks

I have been getting my monies worth from ohc since I moved here a few years ago. It has been a busy time there, like anywhere I guess. But my previous contact with the staff have on the whole been very pleasant. I am not a demanding person and leave an online message most of the time for someone to get back as soon as they are able, and that works for me. Today I got a response from a message given yesterday where I was assisted with 4 different issues spanning prescription and test results etc. Even though I could hear the busy centre in the background and the stress of a busy person assisting me, the communication was very pleasant and everything was taken care of in one go. So thank you very much ohc staff for the great services you provide.
