  1. Review titled Would not recommend

Many reception staff here need training on how to talk to patients with dignity and respect - some receptionist very rude and dismissive however a few are actually really helpful and do there best to help, the others couldn't care less and make you feel like a burden when calling up. Had a negative experience from one nurse here, doesn't seem to even be able to hold a conversation with patient let alone do things correctly- have also heard from a friend that the same nurse was again very unprofessional with them (dirty dressings on the couch from a prior patient and injectables left on the sides exposed!).

  2. Review titled Downhill decline in service past few years

Rated 1 star out of 5

This surgery has declined massively over the past few years. It is now literally impossible to get an appointment to be seen. Ringing in at 8am for an urgent on the day appointment and speaking to staff at 08.05 to be told there are no appointments left and they are at full capacity is utterly appalling. This resulted in me calling 111 and having an unnecessary ambulance sent to me for them to then prescribe the relevant medication i needed due to severe infection. Receptionists always extremely rude and unhelpful when wanting an appointment - like robots and offering no support to patients. I am going to be looking into registering at another surgery as this surgerys patient care is non existent.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not match your expectations. There is currently an unprecedented demand on appointments and our Receptionists do their best to allocate appointments appropriately. 3. Review titled A Practice that Cares

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Having being diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer after an A&E admission, I cannot fault New Court Surgeries support. The General Practioner's have been prompt, compassionate and taken time to understand and subsequently alleviate symptoms. The receptionists have done then their best to find solutions to getting appointments despite high demand and the back office staff have been excellent at communicating and showing kindness for my situation. Royal Wooton Bassett is an aged population and there is high demand on the GP services. I believe they are doing the best they can in very trying circumstances.
