    Like so much of the NHS, Much Birch Surgery has to contend with staff shortages. They do this with maximum dedication, friendliness and courtesy.

    30 day wait for a brief telephone appointment! I cannot imagine how this long a wait is necessary. It is a one minute call to get a repeat prescription approved. Thirty days.

    Thank you for your feedback. Our reception team work very hard to ensure patients are given an appointment, suitable for their needs, as soon as possible. I apologise that you are having to wait a while for a telephone appointment. It is difficult to respond to an anonymous review regarding the length of wait without more information. Some of our clinical team are taking holiday at the moment which may have compounded matters, especially if you only wish to speak to one person. Please feel free to use the online consultation function on our website which will be reviewed by a clinician within 2 working days.

    Pharmacist is rude and prickly, a typical jobsworth individual. Their 'need' for five working days to fill out a repeat prescription would be hilarious if it weren't so depressing, inconvenient and absurd.Who's paying for whom?

    Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that you feel frustrated with our request for 5 days noticed when ordering repeat medication. Unfortunately due to fluctuating national shortages n some types of medications and staff shortages within our dispensing team, we are not currently able to fill prescriptions within a faster timeframe. This information is clearly stated on our website and on the prescriptions themselves. If patients have given consent for us to message them using their mobile details, we can let you know when your medication is ready to collect.
