This is not an attentive GP practice. While under their care, I have felt neglected. Originally coming for mental health issues in September 2022, I was prescribed a low dose of an SSRI to deal with anxiety & depression. With a promise for a follow up in 4 weeks, and a further med review in six. Except I have not heard back, and it’s been over a year. Moreton Medical Centre consistently take longer than suggested to approve and send prescriptions, especially when using the Lloyds Pharamacy app. I’ve often felt ‘palmed off’ with seeing a different doctor every time, limited appointments and the feeling of the doctors just wanting to rush you through to get to another patient. The lack of follow up is incredibly demotivating for somebody with mental health issues. Additionally, it seems it’s not just patients they cannot follow up with. I requested a referral to an ear clinic in summer 2023, and didn’t hear anything back for several weeks. It was only upon ringing the ear clinic myself that I found out about my appointment. Abysmal and disappointing. Very glad to be moving to a new practice. Avoid at all costs if you want to feel cared about.
