Rated 1 star out of 5

I had major surgery Friday 6th I have been distarged since late Monday night tried getting a appointment 2 days running to speak to a doctor about a serious heath worry but everytime I call they say no appointments even if 8.35 in morning surely if I'm ill after surgery my doctor should help but they tell you to call 111 even though 111 are telling you to go to the gp I'm sick of eing treated like my life don't matter

  4. Review titled Dont know why I bother

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kassie Rowe - Posted on 29 July 2022

I have called 4 times today. First to be told no one can give me advice regarding my issue after waiting 30 minutes for someone to answer explained NHS website says to get checked. And told to call back at 2.30pm or offered appt for 3 weeks time!! Call back wait 45 minutes phones put down on me 3 times! Finally get through try to explain why I need to speak to doctor and no interest in why I'm calling and told that if I'm concerned.. no appts? And to call 111 of its urgent.

Hello Mrs Rowe I am sorry to learn of your recent experience when you made contact with the surgery. We are experiencing a high volume of incoming calls to the surgery together with staff shortages which is the reason for the caller wait times. However, I would like to reassure you we are in the process of recruiting staff, which will reduce the caller waiting times. However, could you please contact me at the surgery so we can discuss the further issues you have described in your feedback. Kind regards. Mandy Hands Practice Manager

  5. Review titled Great doctors, awful Administration

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 June 2022

Doctors are fantastic but to be told an appointment letter I recieved with date time and place, and took a day off work for is "just off the NHS" and they will contact me "at some point" is beyond a joke. It's hard enough to get an appointment here without the ones you do have not being valid or recognised.

Dear Anonymous Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit to the surgery. Some letters are sent centrally providing appointment times and dates for certain services we provide that are not sent directly from the surgery. Unfortunately, miscommunication between the surgery and the department that send these letters can occur. As you have posted anonymously, I am unable to investigate further, can you please contact me at the surgery so I can find out what went wrong and to prevent this happening again. Kind regards. Mandy Hands (Practice Manager)
