  1. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Charles - Posted on 05 February 2024

I recently had an appointment made for me by the 111 service. The appointment was at 4.30 am, which I find remarkable! I was initially met by a nurse and then spent a good half hour with the doctor. I could not fault the service, particularly as my appointment was at 4.30 am with just 3 hours notice.

Dear Patient, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. I have passed it on to our Out of Hours Team whom I'm sure will appreciate it greatly. Kind Regards

  2. Review titled Very long waits to get through on the telephone

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 August 2022

There never seems to be less than 30-40 people waiting to get through on the telephone, seemingly regardless of the time of day. Often need to wait more than an hour on hold, mostly to be told that appointments are taken and that you need to ring back tomorrow. Getting appointments for children seems to be better however.

  4. Review titled The phone is not answered

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My oncologist had requested that I see my GP for a prescription, I tried to talk to an operator in charge of prescription as I do not need a diagnostic and it is impossible to get an appointment with a doctor. I was put in a queue, I have been number one in the queue for over one hour, how can this be? (16/05/22 at 16.15 and at 17.25 still in the queue) I understand the NHS is under pressure but if people do not answer the phone, the message should be clearer
