This morning I had an horrific experience with the extremely rude and unprofessional reception team at Manor View practice. First of all it's very difficult get through on the phone. You can be in queue position number 1 for 40 minutes and then they put phone down. If you are lucky to get your call answer then you deal with a rude and unprofessional receptionist. We need better qualified staff in reception as they are the first point of contact

I wish I could put the name of the doctor as she was just brilliant. After a couple of years of going backwards and forwards seeing different doctors. This doctor did a thorough check but really listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable about the issue helping to put things right by correct treatment. Really makes a difference having a GP who takes time to listen and get to know you as a person rather than feeling like just a number.

I tried to book an appointment through the website, which is not particularly straightforward. I was sent a text to face-to-face. Trying to do it online, it said it couldn’t be done so I was to bring up. When I rang up Reception staff very unhelpful. Eventually got put through to a lady who did get me to see Doctor on the day. Feels like they need some customer service training and a much better booking system. The doctor was great so was the nurse giving me the blood test?

I was seen by a lady pharmacist at Manor view for review of my Asthma. She was polite and professional. She advised me on use of new inhalers . She looked up my blood tests and realized that I needed monitoring for kidney disease . She was a good listener , and dealt with my concerns and expectations with skill and courtesy. She is an amazing professional who I hope to see in future. Manor View are very lucky to have her .

I was prescribed an anti inflammatory drug by a hospital consultant. Manor View were aware that this drug could cause high blood pressure in some patients who were prevelant to this condition. After some months on the medication I was contacted by the surgery to have a blood pressure check. My BP was over 200! Danger level! I immediately stopped taking the medication and they continued to monitor my blood pressure - which thankly returned to normal after about a week. The speedy action by Manir View may well have prevented me from having a stroke or even a heart attack. Thank you for looking after me so well at age 82.

I was referred for this appointment for blood tests and follow up with the doctor. The wonderful office and front desk team are warm and welcoming and offer care and consideration and privacy. The nurses are wonderful and very good at taking blood painlessly. The Doctors are all wonderful and so caring and professional and really thorough in their examinations and diagnosis. I highly recommend this GP practice.
