  2. Review titled Absolutely discracful, Rude receptionist!!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

My dad has dementia, he's house bound, my mom is caring for him. No one could get to the Dr's to get a urine sample bottle. My mom's neighbour who has just lost her sister kindly popped in to the doctors to get one. The receptionist was very rude unprofessional and stroppy. I am very disappointed with the attitude of the staff as my mom is having a hard enough time looking after my dad on her own and they don't understand she can't leave the house.

  4. Review titled You cannot get a telephone appointment with the GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

This practice asks you to ring at 8.30 to book a telephone appointment, you ring at 8.30 & obviously the lines are engaged, you finally get through after waiting always over 20 minutes to be told all the slots have gone & try the next day at 8.30 or ring 911 , when I rang at 3.00 pm after several attempts & failing in the morning I was told I should register online & I would be guaranteed a telephone appointment but to do so l needed to come into the surgery first for a passcode , this is so discriminatory to people who do not have a computer, however the receptionist told me this was not the case , well I can assure you plenty of elderly people do not know how to use a computer, & how they deal with ringing up every day at 8.30 is beyond words, this surgery needs to either close or employ more staff to ensure it’s patients can speak to a GP , The Covid pandemic has certainly changed how practices operate particularly this one. I have now changed my GP & the difference in customer service is quite astounding, offered face to face appointments, no asking to ring at 8.30 thank goodness !
