    My family and I have been registered at this practise for a number of years, but will be doing all we can to leave asap. Almost impossible to get an appointment however when you enter the building by it’s always empty. They have cancelled my recent appointment that was supposed to be face to face, booked me in for a phone appointment that never happened. When queried they couldn’t explain why the phone appointment wasn’t showing on their system. Waited for doctor to call on another day, supposedly I missed his call when I literally was sat in a room on my own in work whilst my colleagues proceeded to have a meeting, just so I didn’t miss it. Receptionist reaction is so nonchalant, with no attempt to help in anyway. My son also has had the same experience where he has waited for a call that never happened. I feel completely let down by this surgery, I shouldn’t have to consider moving or going private due to their lack of ability to manage themselves or even show some manners.

    Today I received a message telling me that I could book my flu vaccination with the surgery. When I phoned, to make the appointment on my smart phone, it was nice to see/hear the service tell me where I was in the line of callers. And to keep me updated very regularly every 45 to 60 seconds or so it seemed. Understandably I had to wait for 2 or 3 calls before me having started 4th in the queue. I was soon speaking to a member of staff at the surgery and she was very patient and very helpful in explaining what dates and times were available. Together we soon established a time to suit me and my circumstances, and I have no complaints, only praise, and found the whole experience very easy and reassuring.
