  1. Review titled Absolutely Awful Practice - so unhelpful!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Never given appointment - Posted on 08 March 2024

I rang the surgery today as I believe I have a chest infection as I am having breathing issues only to be told that if I have already sent an econsult in that I cannot also be triaged via the phone - I only left the econsult in-case I couldn't get through on the phone but I was No.5 in the queue (yes, only No.5) and was told that even if I hadn't sent an econsult that there were no appointments to give anyway......do they have less that 4 appointments a day! I work at a different surgery and I'm so pleased to say that we have at least 30 appointments every day to offer patients, as well as on the day econsult slots, nurse slots and paramedic slots. We also have a whole day of duty doctor appointments (where I should have been placed but was totally dismissed)! This surgery also let my son down so badly a few years ago that he could no longer join the navy! I've never known a surgery so bad and don't know how they're still open!

  2. Review titled We didn't get the help we needed

Rated 1 star out of 5

We did not receive a paper referral for a blood test from the Doctor. When we got to the reception desk, they made an appointment for a blood test. After 2 weeks, we received a referral to which clinic. When we arrived at the hospital, we were asked for a paper referral. But unfortunately, the doctor did not give it to us. Why didn't the doctor issue this referral? My daughter can't ride the Vitobus for a long time because she gets sick. thanks for understanding

  3. Review titled Terrible practice

I have been with London lane for 10 years since the pandemic the service has gone down hill. It’s impossible to get an appointment, when you call you are left waiting for no less than 30min and the receptionist are very dismissive. It’s not a nice place to receive care anymore, I recognise that demand for services are high but it’s important that compassion and kindness remain central to interaction with patients. This is not the the case you are are just a patient record. I’m left with no choice but to move practices and hope for the best. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone.

  4. Review titled Access issues

Rated 1 star out of 5

No appointments available to book on nhs app for routine/follow up gp care (only options asthma/imm/travel/blood test /smear. In last few weeks I have sent in an econsult - which gp decided needed an appointment- sent a text in the am for a phone appointment in the ‘afternoon’- phone call came eventually at 16:48. Today sent a text by a different gp asking me to book an appointment- now I need to wait for ages in the queue system. Why can you not send accurx appointment booking links so patients who work and need to manage their health can book an appointment, why are there no appointments available to book on line with your gps. Access is extremely difficult at this surgery. E consults are not the answer to all problems - no ‘ consultation’ takes place , there is no opportunity for the gp to ask questions and for the patient to ask questions and share concerns.

  5. Review titled Great review with Pharmacist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Helen Barnes - Posted on 13 February 2024

I had my annual hypertension review today with the pharmacist face to face in London Lane. I was given a calm and thoughtful health review, and then given very helpful and supportive advice. I’m certain I’ll attend for my valuable appointments with him next year Thank you

  6. Review titled Appalling

Rated 1 star out of 5

This is by far the worst GP surgery I’ve ever experienced. The office staff are completely clueless as to their own roles and are often just rude. Upon calling to check on the status of a repeat prescription order that had an item rejected I was told that nobody would have informed me. I then enquired whether the other items in the order had been approved or not and was told “I don’t know as I have no idea how patient access works”. There needs to be an urgent review of this surgery as it is just not performing to an acceptable standard.

  7. Review titled Absolutely appalling practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

The receptionists laugh down the phone instead of answering in a professional manner . You cannot get an appointment to see a GP and end up having to pay to see someone privately ( if you can of course) effectively paying twice . The NHS is not free we pay for it and I have been paying for 46 years!!.

  8. Review titled Very Poor Practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

My family and I have been at the practice for 25 years + and it has deteriorated beyond measure, especially since covid. The whole place seems like a disorganised rudderless ship with no one properly running it or having a grip on the situation. Admin is poor and often deny having copies of hospital letters even when I have personally taken duplicate copies. Almost impossible to see a Dr and econsult is used too prevent you seeing anyone. They maintain you have been contacted in spite of having no 'missed calls' or call record on both landlines and .mobile. Just rely on texts and NHS app messages. As I am under a London teaching hospital for a serious condition they seem to disregard me and tell me to get in touch with the hospital, no matter the ailment. I don't know how this practice can get away with this dreadful lack of service and I have zero confidence in getting help from them. Depressing.

  9. Review titled Appalling practice

This practice makes it as hard as possible to have a face to face appointment. If and it’s a big if you get a call back after having filled out their e-consult it’s obvious they haven’t read it you get a receptionist call you back offering an appointment at another practise in 24 hours time. They are failing their patients it borders on neglect. No wonder the pru a&e department is over run. Absolutely appalling service.

  10. Review titled Unfit for purpose

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 February 2024

I have been trying to get an appointment for over a year (concerns about a mole) and after countless econsult forms, I have not heard back. I have now gone private, which I can't really afford but feel like I have no choice.
