I got an appointment after filling up the long form however the appointment given is somewhere else far off. This is very disappointing.

firstly, it's very difficult to get an appointment here, and finally I got an appointment after trying for almost 2 weeks. the medicines prescribed did not work. i still have the symptoms. i requested the clinician for a fbc test, and she booked an appointment for june 1st. they couldn't find my veins to take samples and test postpones happened twice and finally today, they took my blood sample on june 13. every time i visited, i had bad and rude experience with the receptionists. they are on their personal calls every time. i notice it always. we wait in telephone queue for hours and hours, and now I got to know the reason why.

Trying to sort out appointment for my wife from last year for removal of polyp, finally got an appointment after 10 months but was cancelled and gp keep prescribing medicines and blood test instead of referring her for removal.

Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful, always busy using their personal phones instead of helping. I have been told today to go to private doctor instead of booking my appointment.

the people sitting at the counter always talking to clients with rude way. they treat people like we are here to seeking help for no reason. they do not use please, thank you words. feel free to send someone to check. We are taxpayers. and they should be aware of it.

I have faced every experience listed under your other reviews, i.e. rudeness by reception staff, barriers to getting basic medical needs that fall under the patient charter etc. As a working employee with no ability to use personal phones at work or use work devices for personal matters you give no option to patients but to go sick from work just to arrange a prescription review. You are convincing yourselves that your systems are efficient and help the patient - but they are not, they are designed to deter patients from getting the help they need, at the time they most need it. But most importantly your systems have caused me stress and anxiety. Twice I have come off of a phone call upset and in tears feeling I cannot proceed. Feeling that any pain I would suffer from not getting the help is far less than the pain I get trying to battle with your systems. How as a surgery can you ignore these reviews, it is immoral and surely must make you feel you are letting your patients down .... shame on you to have this much power and control in treating people the way you do.

Request medication - receive message - have to see GP Go online see we are very busy make appointment online. Go online see - either no online services available notice. Later get into online system - no appointments available please call practice to make an appointment .Call practice. We are very busy Cannot take your call make appointment online. No service - none at all.

The surgery called (on landline) to make an appointment for my son who was at work (he has regular blood test for his condition) . He does Not have a mobile (only the land line) and is not conversant with technology (eg online etc) . I answered the call and said he was at work but that his days off were Monday and Wednesday so if they could note this and call on those days. The receptionist said she would note this. She said for him to call the surgery but the queues are long even early in the morning and it is near impossible to get through. Not everyone has a mobile or access or the ability to use online forms. I appreciate that this is the way doctors are working these days but there are some it does not suit. Reference another issue. Some time ago (not related to my sons call from the surgery) after waiting in a queue for 57 minutes I was told that I had to fill in a form to get an appointment. Why is this not made clear on the website or on a voice message when you call? For example a voice message could state if you require an appointment and have access and ability to go online please fill in a form on the website. This would cut the wait time down considerably I did go online and the form was quite long winded to fill in. I did eventually get a telephone appointment but I wanted to see a doctor.

Mixed experience when I and family members have seen doctors, sometimes ok and sometimes dismissive. But the biggest problem is the receptionist process, the system seems designed to stop you seeing a doctor. Receptionists hang up the phone after you've been on hold forever, recorded messages tell you specific times to call and then there is no answer at those times, receptionists deny receiving test results when the hospital say they've been sent to GP surgery (this has happened multiple times). Worst of all is receptionists without medical training asking personal medical questions on the phone or in the waiting room when you should be able to discuss those questions with the doctor you are registered with. When you eventually get through on the phone the receptionists will find absolutely any excuse to not let you see a doctor. The supposed 'system' for booking appointments frequently changes so you are always told you're doing something wrong. The whole practice seems set up to deny access to medical care while pretending that it's the patient's fault for not navigating the impossible gatekeeping process. Find another practice if you can.

Twice my elderly mother has ended up in hospital because of the negligence of this practice, and even now after promising to have regular reviews of her serious condition, we haven't heard a word since she was released from hospital 3 months ago ????? She is now deteriorating again, and you can't speak to anyone, when you call you cannot get through. When you do no doctors are available, and after begging to get a doctor to telephone. Nobody calls , i am at my wits end, and all i see is my mother ending up in hospital again because this practice is incapable of dealing with their clients. They even have a branch at BUshmead luton that does not even have doctors on site most of the time
