    Tried an e-consult on Friday 20-Oct around 5:15pm and it was not available. Called the practice and they said I should try on Monday as all e-consults are full. Tried on Mon 23-Oct at 10:30am and again the online e-consult is full. I mean how can a Website ..how can an "online form" have a start time and end time? Online websites are always available 24 by 7. Called the Practise again and was told that that the e-consults are closed for the day and I should try tomorrow at 8am sharp and the receptionist will do a telephonic e-consult for me. This is rather disappointing. I can understand if we cannot get an appointment ...but at-least we should be able to fill up an Online form and wait for the response.... My son has been having an incessant cough for the last 30 days and is unable to sleep all night !!

    I have tried for two days to ask a question about an MRI but have been unable to contact the surgery because the surgery does not have sufficient capacity. Trying to get through on the phone is equally difficult. A doctor's surgery where contacting a doctor is almost impossible......I am so disappointed with the level of service which once was a beacon of community engagement.

    I have registerd with this practise couple of years ago but have never seen a doctor face to face. All my appointments were on the phone. This morning I learned that even that is not going to work. I have been having high fewer for the last 3 days and growing worried. They gave me an appointment on the phone in 2 days! I am sorry but this is not acceptable. What is the point of being registered with GP practise if you cannot actually see the GP when you need them. I can just alway got to A&E but I though government is urging us not to to that either?

    Need an urgent appointment and now cannot even fill out this ridiculous e consult! It says from 8am tomorrow. My mum is 85, unwel and has given up even trying with this place!

    Can never get appointment to see GP! Never wanted an urgent appointment in all my 72 years but got told to ring 111! Can’t believe I had to wait four days for an urgent appointment. Will be finding a new surgery.

    Called today to get help for my child as usual was bluntly told at full capacity for today call back tomorrow. When I said his got rash I’ll have to take him hospital to be checked then was hung up on. This is generally the experience I get whenever talking to receptionist at knoll medical. They are rude abrupt and shouldn’t be working on s help desk reception or anywhere they have to deal with public!!

    Phoned at 1015 to try to get advice and perhaps see a doctor. No more E consult forms today. not doctors appointments but no E consult forms available to fill in. Call again tomorrow at 0800 and you might be lucky to be able to fill a form in!!!! What is it coming to when one has to queue to fill a form in.

    Basically you will never get to see a gp ever! I’ve had infections diagnosed over the internet & antibiotic have been prescribed. Being in pain for days over a separate matter no-one cares. Have had to do an e-consult for another matter, get an email response doctor will ring between an 3 hour slot. Waited by phone rang once then ran off tried to call number back it was a different surgery which now was shut. Another email saying if you still need to speak to the doctor you will have to fill out another e-consult. The only time we managed to see someone was when they suspected my child had Appendicitis. No follow-up over quite serious health concerns. Rang to ask what vaccine I might need to go on holiday & was told to google it. I am in the process of looking for a new surgery.

  10. Review titled Not possible to access GP when you really need them

    The doctors in the GP Practice are good. However, it is next to impossible to have access to your GP when you really need them. My wife was very sick with covid. I called the GP practice by phone to have a consultation with GP but the receptionist said that she is not instructed to make reservation and we have to go through e-consulting website. When I went through the e-consulting website and described the symptoms, the site said that it cannot understand the symptoms and I must call the GP practice for urgent appointment. When I called the GP practice again, they said that they are not instructed to make GP appointments and I must call 111. I feel really let down by this GP practice. We can not even have access to our GP when we are very sick. Arun Kumar
