    I called this morning at 8.03am. The option for appointment wasn't available...there was no queue to join. Having suspected heart attack I tried option 2. The person who eventually picked up refused to help me and forced me to redial. This is how this surgery treats life threatening issues.

    The appointment booking allocation system is very poor. You ring for an appointment No appointments are available, please ring back tomorrow. This goes on for weeks. Even if a doctor has asked you specifically to see them in x weeks. I certainly do not have 45 mins a day to spend calling the surgery to arrange a follow-up appointment. The service has declined since COVID. Once you are lucky enough to get through and get an appointment, It may be with a different GP so you have to explain everything again. The staff gives 100% positive experience. The booking system is the Major broken link in the chain

    Been with this surgery 10+ years and cannot speak highly enough about the service and care provided. Never had an issue getting an appointment or test results. Sadly, people have no patience nowadays and personally I can put up with putting the phone on speaker and get on with life/work whilst in the queue to book an appointment.

We do offer alternative solutions such as online booking or LIVI but I appreciate these may not always be the preferred route.     While I appreciate it has been a difficult time for the NHS, I would like to report that the difficulty in getting any medical help from this surgery is appalling. Long waits for telephone calls (over an hour) almost impossible to get face to face appointments. On going medical conditions not bothered about even when requested by hospital. Say that their busy all the while yet if you do manage to get in there is empty waiting rooms.

    I have tried to get through to the doctors surgery and had to wait well over an hour to get spoken too. This is appalling on behalf of a business that uses their facilities to complete work for us. During working hours it makes it impossible for us to get through due to working schedules. I suggest they employee more members of staff to man the phones as this seems to be a common factor. The lady on the phone was lovely however.

    Huge phone waiting times, impossible to get to see a doctor without a battle, my referral was not actioned for a month then I had to call to check on it, still can’t be actioned because yet another doctor has left and the rest seem incapable of reading a clinical history. Reception and impersonal and uncaring and never apologise. If you can’t call at 8am for a phone appt. (Even this not possible on some days for some doctors) good luck ever getting seen or heard. Absolutely appalling. Wish I had never registered.

    The Surgery seems to be run by Reception. GP ignore specialists' letters and recommendations, delayed or no referrals to specialists , one minute phone consultation to discuss your test results , discontinue of prescribed medication...
