my husband recently had to wait 4 days for life-saving medication due to the sheer ineptitude of the staff at this surgery. This is not the first time I have submitted a review about the shambles that is known as kempsey surgery. I once went there for a blood test and the 'nurse' was interrogating me about my private life. If the staff at this practise spent more time concerning themselves with the welfare of their patients and less time wanting to know the personal details of those who they are supposed to be caring for, perhaps it would be a halfway decent surgery. In the end my husband had to complain to Kempsey Surgery's sister surgery (Haresfield) and one of the receptionists there sorted his medication out and finally it was delivered. The whole place needs a clear out and in my opinion, the staff need to be re-trained or some new staff brought in, preferably with people who know how to file the prescriptions under the correct initials.

I have been very happy with both telephone and face to face appointments. Repeat prescriptions always prepared within due dates. Staff and doctors are all helpful.
