Great Doctors, very professional, and caring after the loss of my wife, also at various times throughout the years with different medical problems I have had. Some problems with getting private medical scripts alongside NHS ones, I don’t exactly know why, but my sister who recently transferred here from a Pudsey surgery agrees with me that this surgery is outstanding.

Still struggling to understand the receptionist's motive behind being rude and awkward. She asked for my child's date of birth, then his name just to claim that's not the right name. To my surprise and stress she asked for the birthdate again and rudely. When I asked her to be polite she tried to reverse pthe situation and accused me of being rude!! Don't know what was going in her head. The world knows on registering your children in a practice you must supply a proof of ID which was birth certificates in this case plus we've been with the practice for ofer sixteen years. So how come suddenly the name wasn't correct other than a pure awkward if not discriminatory attitude. Yes I had to stand up to that disgraceful behaviour but just to experience further "tribal bias" by another staff.

I had to contact the surgery urgently recently. I was listened to carefully and sympathetically by the reception staff and received a call back from one of the doctors within the hour. I saw the doctor later that morning and was referred to St James’. An appointment came through within the two weeks promised. I cannot speak too highly of the care and consideration my husband and I receive and would like to emphasise what a well organised, efficient and caring practice it is They need plenty of support as we are very lucky to have them
