  1. Review titled Most amazing surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by E.H - Posted on 01 March 2023

I just want to say I hear so many bad reviews and opinions of friends and family’s doctors surgery and I tell them how amazing Ingelton is and I thought I should tell the surgery themselves ! From the receptionist that answer calls , find appointments and do the many more jobs we need them to do , to the doctors and nurses who are kind , caring and listen every time ! I can always get an appointment for myself or my children and they are always there to help and care! Thank you to every member of staff that makes the surgery what it is every single of you you are important and I hope you get the recognition you deserve!

  2. Review titled I ran out of an important medication today which was my own fault

by PMRwarrior - Posted on 12 January 2023

Today at 3am I realised that I had run out of an essential drug which is essential and regularly prescribed for me, this was entirely my fault, I failed to check my meds sooner ( I blame "Christmas Brain")and suffered the consequences. I am referring to quite a strong painkiller. I went to the surgery at 8.30am, opening time, and explained my predicament to the reception staff, I had trouble explaining the situation as I was upset and was offered a drink of water and a chair while I recovered. Immediately they said they could make up a prescription for me and send it to my usual Chemist, once one of the doctors had signed it as my GP was not in Surgery today. I was also told I could request at the Pharmacy enough tablets to tide me over until the prescription had been sent and filled. I went to Compact Pharmacy on my way home and explained what had happened. Pharmacy were very helpful and said to call back after 3pm to see if they had the prescription. 3pm-hey presto- the Pharmacy had the prescription, it was being dispensed and I could call for it today, although delivery tomorrow was offered. I collected my painkillers at 3.30pm. Within 7 hours of discovering I had made a booboo I had my prescription. From the Surgery Receptionist to the dispensing staff I was treated with dignity, care and efficiency. This is an excellent Surgery and Chemist not only today but every time I have had to deal with them. I send my thanks to them all.

So lucky to be at this surgery. Saw Doctor on Monday and he explained he would refer me for physio treatment at the hospital. Can’t believe have received hospital appointment today for end of January.
