  1. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I am lucky and rarely need to see a doctor. Today I needed advice and reassurance for ongoing symptoms linked to a cold. First I spoke to a receptionist, then the duty doctor called me and then I came in to be checked face to face. Everyone I spoke to was extremely kind, concerned and helpful, in spite of being incredibly busy. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and professionalism. I hope to keep my record of infrequent visits in the future but it is so good to know what a great team of people you are and that you are there to help us when we need it most. We are very fortunate to have you all.

  2. Review titled Communication Problems!!

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by David Ellison - Posted on 08 October 2022

My wife and I have just been turned away from the Harltey Wintney surgery for a flu jab because we have had a Covid jab within the last 7 days. Two other couples were turned away at the same time. This wasted our time, the doctors and administrators time plus the parking fee and fuel to get there and back. I am reporting this here because there is no other way to communicate with the system. Please have a message sent out on the NHS patient system warning us all that this 7 day ruling applies. It is not mentioned at the time of booking either of the jabs. Please also consider some form of more general communication, so we don't have to resort to this. Here's hoping somebody reads this and takes appropriate action.

Dear Mr Ellison - thank you for your feedback. Our team worked very hard at our flu clinic on Saturday morning and as you say it was very frustrating that patients were attending for a flu jab when they had received a COVID vaccination within the last 7 days - patients should have been made aware of the 7day rule between vaccinations (unless receiving them simultaneously). We were advising all patients being given the flu jab about the 7 day rule before they could now have the COVID vaccination. The practice will add this information to the flu jab automated appointment reminder text messaging service. Thank you, Whitewater Health

  3. Review titled A change for the better!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I came to this practice having been very badly advised by another local one. The service and advice I have had so far have been a refreshing change. The reception and admin staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, responding quickly to email enquiries. The asthma and diabetes nurses are thorough and knowledgeable and I have confidence in them. I have not needed to see a doctor yet. I feel that the practice is proactive in caring for its patients which is a complete change from my previous experience. My one complaint is that I have had to give up several times when trying to phone but I am assured that the system is in the process of being sorted out. I now feel that I am being cared for rather than being left to my own devices!
