Rang today at 11am was seen at 11.40 had medication home for 12.15 brilliant service from reception staff to nurses and doctor thank you

The staff are friendly, kind and patient. It is very easy to get an appointment and they provide prescriptions promptly. Dr copper- crump was reassuring and informative, other doctors have been equally helpful. This doctors surgery is a real credit to the NHS, I cannot thank them enough.

Having been registered with the Hodnet Medical Practice for over 25 years, I have moved 3 miles down the road, this has resulted in me being 1&1/2 miles further away from the practice than I was. I am now 3.4 miles away. I had filled in my new address details with the practice. This morning when I needed to make an appointment I was told I am no longer on their books as I am out of their area. I am in fact the grand distance of 20 meters outside of their area!!! Having gone to the practice this morning, they referred me to 111. Having spoken to 111 who stated I needed to call my practice back and state that I needed a clinical review with in 1hr, due to chest and breathing issues. The practice still refused to see me and stated that I needed to register with a different gp or go to a&e I again requested that they see reason as I had been at the practice for over 25 years and my new address was but 20 meters the wrong side of a road (A 49) which they have set as their Boundry. Once again they said no, I asked to speak to the gp but was told he was busy. I asked when he was free if he could call me….yes you are correct no call has been made to discuss this by him with me. The net result is I still have not had a medical review of my chest and I am now with out a gp practice. I would finally state that the practice is number 4 on the nsh find a gp practice list stating accepting patients and all 4 are within 3/4 of a mile difference of my address (the first is 2.8 miles, the second 2.9 miles the third 3.1 miles and my old practice is 3.4 miles from my new address. As stated this is farcical.

Same day appointment and a very thorough consultation. I wasn’t rushed and the doctor was very knowledgable. Doctor referred me to the hospital while I was there and arranged for me to attend hospital the same afternoon. Can’t fault anything. Thank you!
