    You can no longer get through by phone. Airmid no longer allows you to book appointments or message. I tried to call over a 2 week period at different times of the day to arrange an appointment, with no luck. Eventually I had to drive to the surgery to book an appointment. Everyone was complaining about exactly the same as me.6 weeks waiting time What would happen if I was really ill, couldn't drive? as I have no family to take me. This is not the first time this has happened, I once called over 400 times, in one day, constantly, and still didn't get through. I ended up in hospital via ambulance with pneumonia. I would say its a joke but its not funny.Disgraceful

    On hold after 87 attempted phone calls - callback service refused but system forced callback eventually - later i received callback with automated response and was then put on hold for further 60 mins plus - my partner drove to the clinic to attempt to speak to reception and joined the queue - after queuing, reception informed me they couldn't book appointments and provided a website to do this online - i went online and was unable to request an appointment as the system was full for day.

    Surgeries are getting a lot of stick lately about how difficult it is to get an appointment. This process was really straightforward and didn’t require a single phone call. I got a text inviting me to book an appointment within 20 minutes of filling in the online form, and there was plenty of availability to choose from within the next 7 days. Highly recommend this process rather than sitting on the phone for 2 hours like other places.

    Because I could not use my new inhaler I needed to request a repeat prescription of my previous one. I was told that I had to have an appointment with nurse so she could agree to this. Rang the surgery this morning after 45 mins was told 4th in line, then cut off! Rang again this afternoon after nearly 2 hrs was told 4th in line, 25 mins later I rang off as mobile nearly dead!! I need my inhaler now what do I do????

    Needed to order more meds but found the new system for security over zealous, even more security than banks. Finally gave up at the point of allowing access to my phone (just couldn't master it) (am I the class dunce or are others in the same boat) and resorted to phone. This extra security seems to be a step backwards from the system that was already in place

    98 phone calls then in queue number 15. Pressed for call back. After an hour finally call back came through, then hung on for a further 30 mins before I finally gave up. Disgusting service. If you need anything such as an appointment then you have to physically go. What are the elderly/infirm/ immobile supposed to do?, Just wish another GP practice would open up in Darton. They need to sort out the reception staff/service. The Doctors are quite good once you get to see one!

    Rang to confirm arranged time and place of contact with nurse. I had been informed of a phone call from nurse relating to blood tests. Then day before due call received a message stating I would have to attend at Hill Brow surgery. I tried to contact Hill Brow for over 3hours. The auto play back left me hanging on then just cut me off a few times. This seems to be a recurring and very annoying issue. I have had this happen several times. What are reasons for not answering calls? Is it a staffing issue? Can you set up an automated system for leaving non urgent messages and have a member of staff dealing with them?
