I have no issues with this practice, other than the endless problems that arise concerning repeat prescriptions. Time and time again both I and my partner wait, sometimes 7/8 days, for prescriptions to be 'signed off' by a doctor. They're meant to take a couple of days! Also, the medication printed on the prescription is not always the medication we have actually requested. Presumably the fault lies with whoever administers prescriptions. For the safety of patients and the reputation of the practice, this problem really needs to be tackled.

I've been a member of this GP throughout my life and the care has been generally very good. Today stood out - I had my first smear test and the nurse made me feel at ease the second I walked through the door. She talked me through every step and made the experience as comfortable as possible for me. The nurses have also been lovely for my travel and university vaccines. Highly recommend

Today I called the practice to make an appt for a cervical screening. To my surprise, they said they had an appointment within the hour! The nurse was exceedingly professional and kind and efficient - she made a slightly awkward procedure quick and painless. How lucky we are to have such a terrific practice in our community!

Whilst driving today I received a telephone call from the practice. Just as soon as I answered the call, the line went dead. I duly returned the call and waited over 35 minutes for it to be answered having joined 'the queue' at position 10. When I eventually got through to the practice, the receptionist had no idea who had rung me and said she would get a doctor to call me later. This he did but it was only to ask why I had left a urine sample at the practice earlier in the day? My doctor had requested this sample during the consultation I had with him the previous day. This episode does not give me much confidence in this practice!

I would like to congratulate the doctor that treated me, which was very attentive to to hear my case, provide thorough exams and further treatment. A exemplary doctor and above all with warm personal qualities. The Surgery deserve our support and gratitude
