When I phoned the practice about unexpected increase in blood pressure increase and other test results highlighted during my five year medical check the receptionist was very understanding. Later I received a texted outline all the points we had discussed which was really helpful and made me feel my concerns had been taken seriously. A follow up appointment with the doctor gave me lots of information about blood pressure and strategies to reduce it in a supportive and non judgmental way. Thank you.

recently saw a doctor at Higham Hill Medical and was impressed by their attentive listening to my symptoms and concerns. They conducted a thorough examination, including a blood pressure test, and promptly arranged for further tests. Their advice on basic health planning and the next steps was useful. Overall, it was a good experience, and I left feeling well taken care of and informed

Phoned up in morning and obviously the receptionist could hear hope bad I was and I got an appointment that morning thankfully. Generally you have to wait a week or two but no way could I have suffered and waited that long. So thank you to the team

Dear Christine Thank you for your review. Our staff are trained to triage and offer appointment appropriately. So yes your illness indicated a same day appointment. Our staff can triage and can book you with other services that is available i.e. Pharmacy First, Social Prescriber, Physio, In-house pharmacist, nurse and Physician Associate. Practice Manager

My blood pressure has been extremely high. I was seen by my gp the same day when I explained my condition. My gp has been excellent at reviewing my blood pressure on a regular basis and increasing my medication to stabilise my blood pressure. She has given me a full explanation of my treatment, allowing space for questions, whilst also giving health education about things I can do to help manage my blood pressure. My care has been excellent and I have been treated with dignity and respect. Thank you.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful when I arrived. The GP took the time to explain everything well. His kind and caring nature has helped to support me to find the right treatment and I’m really grateful. Thank you. Highly recommend this practice.

At my GP appointments, the GP(mh) has been great. She is a good listener, respectful, knowledgeable and pragmatic. She has understood the full impact that my back injury is having on my work and personal life, and is helping me forge a route forwards, hopefully to a proper recovery.
