  2. Review titled Don't bother

Rated 1 star out of 5

This Gp practice seems to still be in the 70s/80s. I've had the Gp trying to discuss a point to myself about a pharmacist not wanting to release an item due to concerns on allergies and it was unprofessional of the Gp to try and convince me that the pharmacist was in the wrong (it's the pharmacy next to them), they should've had this discussion with the pharmacist not the patient. They have a new person working on reception who is incredibly rude and made false accusations against myself saying I was shouting at them, when I actually was being stern due to the ongoing problem that's been going on for over a week and was still done wrong due to not documentation these correctly. I only raised my voice after this person accused me of swearing. They need training on what words are actually swear words. I believe this is not a one-off occurrence as I have heard other people who are patients at this Gp practice who have similar run-ins with this person. The Gp's believe that babies and young children do not have seizures due to high fevers, which is absolute nonsense. There is no queueing system for the phone line, so you have no choice but to continuously call until you finally get through and then most of the time you'll get put on hold. Gp's are very old fashion and can be very condescending. Even stated some conditions to be and I quote "flavour of the month". One of the Gp's swore in front of my then toddler. There are no female doctors. One of the nurses was also insensitive towards myself when I went in for my smear. Unfortunately it's very painful for me (probably due to having endometriosis) and the nurse made me feel like I was being dramatic. One of the receptionists though is an absolute angel and so is the other nurse. I can no longer deal with the issues that have been ongoing and as soon as I have everything sorted out, I will have to move Gp practices. I have too many health problems that I have to deal with to then also have to deal with this.
