I have had a foot problem for 6 months, requested a doctor appointment early on in the condition. Arrived to find my appointment had been switched to a nurse without any consultation .2 contacts with the out of hours service for pain relief .Practice advised to refer me to physio.7 week waiting list so paid to attend at Murrayfield and immediately put on crutches.8 weeks on crutches and still not seen by doctor.2 weeks off crutches and foot deteriorating. Seen at podiatry appointment and she immediately contacted the practice requesting a ultra sound referral. 4 days spent on phone chasing the referral only to receive by text an appointment with the nurse in a weeks time. Rang again to query this and heard nothing that day. Have chased again to be told to keep the nurse appt,not able to speak to doctor ,2 e consults rejected as having to speak to someone, no appointments and now having to go back on crutches. Changed to this practice as assured it was good service yet to see it.

i was seen by a practice nurse, instead of a doctor, she was excellent.approachable and sorted out my problem. i would rather see a nurse if possible, i feel as if i am able to have more time with them. all of the nurses i have seen in this practice are excellent.

I was discharged from hospital after suddenly becoming unwell with very little information. Heswall and Pensby GP practice were really quick in contacting me with a face to face appointment. I also had a telephone conversation with a GP, bloods/stool sample tests were arranged. I was feeling very unwell and shocked by my poor hospital experience but felt 'looked after' by my GP surgery.

Dealt with quickly and efficiently with good diagnosis and solution provided. Also discussed other ailment and how to address issue-doctor was patient and understanding in giving me time to convey issue.

After being advised by the chemist to contact the surgery, I received a face to face doctors appointment within a few hours. Excellent service and a helpful receptionist. Thank you

I had a very friendly and efficient nurse undertake my healthcare review. She was very approachable and I had a good service from her. She talked through my results with me and gave me some helpful information.

From an initial online summary of my symptoms etc to being given a f 2 f appointment and a subsequent referral; the process from GP to testing, analysis and treatment has been exemplary. The HPGP is a role model for professional and speedy response for our Community. The links and services between our GP practice and the various secondary care units is both seamless with excellent communication throughout. Under the (still) current difficulties we are very fortunate to have such a first class Practice. Thank you.

I attended the surgery yesterday, Sunday 8th May for my spring booster vaccine. The staff were very professional and it was so well organised. I suffer with COPD and I was treated with respect so thank you to all concerned. I have never had a problem with this practice. Continued success to you all.

I have been unwell over a period of time. During that time I have had many contacts with the Practice and every single time I’ve been treated with care and compassion. From each GP through to every receptionist I have come into contact with, they have all been so professional and kind. I cannot thank them enough for supporting me through this time. I am feeling so much better now and the Practice has played an invaluable supporting part in my recovery.
