I wouldn't recommend this surgery to anyone and I've reached the point where I'm actively looking at changing. Trying to book an appointment is impossible unless you turn up at 8am in person. For someone with a chronic fatigue disability this is a huge ask, and when I explained this to the receptionist over the phone there was no sympathy or attempt to apologise. Pure cold 'we can't do that'. This surgery is failing people's basic standard of care in even trying to book an appointment. Very disappointed.

As a mum of a child with special needs this is the worst GP you would go to No basic understanding for my son’s conditions No compassion or sympathy when talking to parent Phone is busy so u can’t get hold of them and when I went to see them they Slammed the window on my face while I was explaining my son s illness and got told to go to urgent care centre.

Over many years, the service of this GP has declined from bad to extremely terrible. You can now no longer get an appointment here without calling 50 or so times at eight am in the hope you finally get through and are given a same day appointment. You are no longer able to book an appointment in advance. So if you have a job, you will never be able to get an appointment. I effectively now no longer have a GP. This surgery doesn’t deserve funding because I’m unsure what they would do with it since seeing patients doesn’t seem to up there on their list.

To get an appointment is impossible. The only way to guarantee an appointment is to queue before 8am outside the surgery and when finally seen, the staff are rude and unhelpful. My family have been with this practice for over 30 years and it has declined in the last few years. We are changing doctors!

I phoned the surgery this morning for advice and the person who answered the phone was so very helpful and understanding. She offered a telephone appointment with a GP during the afternoon and I found this to be also extremely helpful and reassuring. With all the pressure that everyone at the surgery must be facing, my experience is one of enormous gratitude.

Tried to get a prebookable appointment after having tests done and wanted to know where I go from here. Was told they do not do prebookable appointments anymore and have to ring in at 8am to get an appointment. Explained I work full-time and haven't got the time to ring at 8am thats why I was ringing in my lunch to make an appointment in the future. Was told that is the new policy and would have to ring at 8am. How can you expect working people to sit trying to ring a surgery for sometimes up to an hour to try and get through to book an appointment? It used to be if you needed an appointment that day you did this, I seriously don't understand this system at all?! Will be looking to change surgery's now as this is the last straw with this practice. Over the last 6 or 7 years, have had lots of issues with the practice, it seems to have gone really down hill.
