I Rang the Hawthorn Medical Centre asking about Walk In Centre Availability. Was advised to turn up but it’s First come first served and there will be a wait. Turned up very friendly told 2 hour wait. Was seen in just under which is a better option than 3 weeks with my GP surgery. Was seen by nursing practitioner who immediately put me at ease told me the best way to deal with the issue. Was dealt with in minutes! Very pleased can’t praise the practice enougj

I've visited the 'walk in' centre twice recently & on both occasions the reception staff and the doctors were all pleasant, helpful and caring. A credit to the NHS...!!! Keep up the good work...!!

Staff were very friendly and professional, I was seen within 1 1/2 hours which is very good and I would highly recommend the practice thank you

Really genuine nurse who put me on new eczema ointment. Gave some advice about my lifestyle and really listened. Lovely reception staff, only waited half an hour for a walk-in appt. However, when I got to my pharmacy they had not received the prescription. I called back and got a code, but the pharmacy told me there was only half of the items on there. Unsure if this is a miscommunication from Limelight Pharmacy rather than Hawthorn, but I didn’t get everything I was prescribed. Will need to try my GP again tomorrow for an appt as I think I need something stronger or a dermatology referral. However, would recommend to anyone who isn’t feeling right and didn’t get through to their GP that day.

The receptionists were polite and helpful. The doctor was great, she saw me and my daughter at the walk in centre, she was very nice and caring. The wait wasn’t too long, but I had the unfortunate experience of seeing and hearing a man with teeth pain hurl abuse at one of the receptionists who was advising him politely.

This place is a god send needed treatment on a Saturday what a fantastic service from the receptionist to the doctors and nurses extremely greatfull for this service all staff were excellent and professional many thanks to the Hawthorn team Mr cox

Was treated my a lovley woman who was very unjudgemental and kind, would reccomend anyone to go, was seen within 2 hours which I thought was relatively reasonable, and got given a perscription

Attended the walk-in centre on a busy Saturday morning. Was seen promptly by the Doctor who took the time to understand symptoms, identify diagnosis and offer advice and medication. Extremely personable Doctor who was brilliant with my 20 month year old daughter and made her feel very easy under examination.
