   I’ve only been with the practice for 4 months, having transferred from another practice. In that time, I’ve unfortunately had several illnesses, some minor and some major, requiring hospital consultations and admissions. Every time, the service I’ve received from doctors, nursing staff, receptionists and admin staff, has been outstanding. I’ve had prompt responses, early appointments, thorough consultations, quick and relevant treatment; and always felt that the service I received, in all areas, was friendly, thorough and personal. The ability to receive a response by email, telephone, video or personal contact has never let me down. This morning, for example, I contacted the surgery, via Ask my GP around 8.45. I received an email acknowledgement within 2 minutes, advising me of the next stage. I received a telephone call at 11.00, advising me what to do next; and I received the appropriate medication by 12.00. Generally, however, nothing can ever be perfect, so I’ve been compiling a list of negatives, to offer some ideas for improvement. Having deliberated for some time and exhausted all possible routes, I can think of only one which, however, I think is critical - ‘If somethings not broken, don’t fix it.
