I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the level of service provided by Grove Road Practice regarding the recent illness of my 7-year-old child. On March 22nd, our child fell ill, prompting us to contact Grove Road Practice on March 25th to book an appointment. After enduring nearly 45 minutes on hold, we were informed that a duty doctor would assess our situation over the phone before determining if an appointment was necessary. Despite this assurance, no call was received. Undeterred, we called again on March 26th and March 27th, enduring similar wait times, only to be met with the same lack of response. This lack of concern for our child's health was distressing and unacceptable. With our child's condition deteriorating, we sought advice from 111 on March 29th, only to be redirected to a local pharmacy, which in turn referred us back to Grove Road Practice. Ultimately, after escalating our concerns to 111, we were advised to seek emergency care at A&E, where our child was provided with the necessary medication after hours of waiting. The negligence and apathy displayed by Grove Road Practice staff have resulted in our child suffering unnecessarily for nearly 10 days. It is imperative that Grove Road Practice reevaluates its policies, procedures, and staff training to ensure that basic care for children in need is promptly and effectively provided. I implore the management of Grove Road Practice to address these shortcomings urgently to prevent other children from experiencing similar ordeals in the future. Our family's experience should serve as a wake-up call for the necessary improvements to be made.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for the unsatisfactory care you received. We have reviewed the case and identified where the confusion took place. The appointment on 27th was cancelled as the child was booked in to the wrong hub clinic. At that point your child should have been booked into a clinic here and seen. We acknowledge the miscommunication from the reception team and the delay in seeing your child. It is practice policy that we always see children whenever possible. A few years ago, during my search for a new GP surgery, serendipity led me to discover this gem of a practice. From the outset, I was struck by the exceptional caliber of the medical professionals who staffed it. Their profound education and extensive expertise were immediately evident, ensuring that any medical concerns I raised were addressed swiftly and with the utmost competence. Moreover, their proactive approach to identifying and managing serious conditions instilled in me a profound sense of confidence and security. The administrative staff at the surgery also merit commendation for their remarkable efficiency and efficacy in handling various tasks, such as expediting prescription refills with impressive promptness. Additionally, the accessibility to consultations with physicians is unparalleled; the ability to schedule a same-day appointment by simply contacting the surgery at 8 am speaks volumes about their commitment to patient care. In my personal experience, I have yet to encounter a GP practice in London that rivals the comprehensive excellence demonstrated by this establishment. It is undoubtedly a paragon of medical excellence and a beacon of exemplary healthcare provision.

A great practice and brilliant staff: I always try to use NHS as less as possible. However, in 2024 , some medical conditions kept araising and I had to use the GP services a few times in recent couple of months. Due to the 'review policies 'here about no name is to be mentioned. Therefore, I can only praise the professionalism and caring bedside manners of the doctors who have treated me recently. Thank you for referring me to the hospital for the further examinations, efficiently liaising with the hospital specialists and timely feedback to me about the outcomes and treatment. The reception staff are always friendly and warm. They always accommodated me for both urgent and none urgent appointments, timely imputed the test results online and proved my repeated prescription requests. Overall, brilliant service and great team. Thank you very much.

We were registered with grove road practice. We moved homes our new GP takes 4 weeks for their registration process. Untill then we were supposed to stay with grove road. But unfortunately they have kicked us out before we are registered with our new practice. Now I have some serious swelling in head. I have no GP to go to. Hence going to AE for the treatment.

I would like to praise the care and kindness I received from Grove Road Surgery over the years. All staff, whether its the doctors, nurses, reception team or others spread positivity and show great care. The app does not allow you to do very much, you cannot book appointments or register for Apps to help you such as GetUBetter although this is commissioned by Sutton Grove Road practice do not offer it.
