I walked in to the reception without an appointment and asked to use their blood pressure monitor as I thought mine was broken. It wasn’t but my blood pressure was sky high. The receptionist took advice from the nurse and sat with me and did it again. The on call doctor sent me to the practice pharmacist who calmed me down and re did the tests. From there I went to A&E ! I cannot thank this practice enough, remember I didn’t even have an appointment!! I am now receiving excellent care as my blood pressure is falling and it is reassuring to know that the team are only a phone call away. Thanks so much

Had a call telephone consultation with regular gp.I was advised to start a new medication and giving appointment for following day.this was my first face to face since start of pandemic gp made me feel at ease instantly.explained medication and reasons it was suggested and benefit's I’d gain from taking it.I was fully involved in the decision gp felt right for me .I felt completely involved and heard. Gp arranged further tests without keeping me waiting due to symptoms I’d experienced prior to visit.once everything was arranged I began to offload how my grief was affecting me although this appointment had to be slotted in at late notice this didn’t stop the gp from simply listening giving support with understanding and kindness. Following day I called due to concerns regarding hospital appointment gp called me back later that evening although it was late and gp very overstretched with workload at no point made me feel a nuisance this Gp is very passionate about his job dose it to the highest of standards I feel 100% trusted in his care and diagnosis I’d like to say a big thank you for acting so promptly. And all the receptionist staff are hardworking friendly helpful and kind .let’s not forget them when reviewing the surgery as without them there wouldn’t be a surgery there so overstretched not just booking appointments but so much more on top so let’s all give them a big thank you too

Visited surgery greeted with a smile and friendly receptionist.surgery extremely clean all Safety measures in place .wasn’t kept waiting saw a nurse extremely caring kind friendly and knew how to make me feel at ease .she’s aware of my struggles explained exactly what tests she’d be doing and what they was for reassuring me throughout how she’d be able to give results afterwards which she did. Then she spent some of her valuable time listening to me .I felt completely involved in the tests was fully aware how they’d be done and giving results this nurse is highly experienced in her role and goes above and beyond in patient care upholding all the nhs trust values by shown compassion respect patient involvement and understanding individual patient needs A huge thank you

Went for bloods that gp requested receptionist sorted out time date and although so overstretched with workload they have,it was done with a friendly manner as they all are extremely caring and work so well as a team they play a huge part in keeping the surgery running so smoothly on arrival for bloods surgery was extremely clean and no waiting around.the nurse was incredibly kind and caring she took bloods then spent her valuable time having a friendly chat with me about my anxiety she was so understanding kind and compassionate such a nice lady thank you

Have had great care for many years at this practice from the dedicated Doctors and Nurses who work there. Brilliant and painless treatment yesterday from an understanding and kindly Doctor and Nurse. Thank you both very much.

Had telephone booked consultation with my regular gp was easy to get all receptionist hard working and assist best they can .after consultation gp offered face to face following day gp aware how my anxiety affects me and made me feel comfortable on my visit .I felt completely listened to gp was very professional and acted right away with medication he said will be of benefit and requested other tests to ensure I am on right dosage for condition.I was involved in all treatments and giving good advise .gp then gave me time to talk through my worries without making me feel I was wasting time.I trust this gp with my life he’s extremely conscientious on patient care compassionate kind caring .and shines through that his patients are his prime priority he goes well above and beyond in patient care and I am immensely great full to this gp. I’d also like to say the surgery is teamwork and they all work so well as a great team I hugely appreciate having you all .where would I be without you all thank you

Ring up first thing in the morning to get told they haven’t got no more appointments left, when you ring for re prescriptions they give you 4 different types of tables, never consistent, my most recent time they told me I should be on certain ones I went to pick my prescription up and they have gave me the ones they said I shouldn’t be taking… said they would speak to the doctor to see what’s going on and give a call back and never got a call back from all the times they have said this.. since covid this place has gone down massively and needs a serious look at the staff they have got now.

I came to the surgery for a coil fitting. I found the receptionists very friendly and the lady who I saw regarding my coil was lovely and very helpful. I could tell they were extremely busy but I didn’t feel like I was rushed in my appointment. Thank you for putting my mind at ease.

My son is an adult with learning needs. He developed pneumonia after catching Covid. Groby Rd surgery were really helpful and the care was first class. First the reception staff were very quick to respond to my query and ensured rapid relay of the information to the Doctor . I was rung back promptly by the doctor who dealt with the problem with great compassion and understanding. Admission to hospital was decided as the best course. Within 15 mins the bed bureau had rung us and arranged assessment at CDU ward in glenfield hospital. There was a long wait to get sorted there but it was understandable as the place was so busy with many patients. I couldn’t ask for better service from the reception staff and the doctor at Groby Rd and am extremely grateful for how my son’s problem was sorted.

Called for telephone call back from my regular GP . This was arranged .receptionists are all so friendly hard working and without them the surgery just wouldn’t be here they work endlessly hard to assist all patients in the best way possible,I received my call back my GP makes it easy for me to talk to him if he says nothing to worry about I feel I can trust him due to his upmost highest standards of a GP ,he misses nothing and gives good advise .i suffer with generalised anxiety disorder that causes many physical issues .my GP is always able to recognise if it’s physical or not if he feels something doesn't sit well with him he’d waist no time in getting investigations done.on top of his endless workload he gives me time to talk and shows compassion and kindness all nurses are equally as kind ,I’d like to say a huge thank you to my dr and all staff whom keep the practice running in a most official way ,great team I’d certainly recommend this surgery ,thank you .
