    I have needed treatment for various matters but particularly for orthopaedic operations resulting from a very active sporting career. Despite the Covid restrictions when I deliberately stood back to allow the Health Service to look after others in more urgent need there was very little delay after that despite the media promulgating "delays" I suffered none of this. The referrals to the specialists were prompt and very efficient. In fact in 2022 I had to have two operations and the only delay was the need to have a suitable recovery period between the two. Recently other matters have arisen. When attending to order a repeat prescription on Monday I asked if I might make an appointment to see a specific doctor at some time in the future. The very polite receptionist said that she would ask the doctor. The next morning (early) there was a message for me to call back as the doctor could see me tomorrow.I duly made the appointment for Wednesday afternoon. This was conducted in a very sympathetic and efficient manner with all issues addressed. A blood sample was required and I was given a piece of paper to hand to reception.After suitable jokes about the mode of communication the very polite receptionist informed me that there was a cancellation vacancy at 10-25 am the following morning. So here I am back home having given a blood sample taken by a very efficient and very pleasant nurse. The experience of this week simply mirrors that which I and my family have experienced throughout our involvement with the practice-in no particular order friendly, polite and efficient. So when you hear or see criticisms on the news,in the written news media and on line about delays etc. tell them of this!

    I visited for an injection in my arthritic knee. The doctor was extremely sympathetic and approachable. I had rung only a week before the appointment. The procedure was very quickly and skilfully done. I discussed one or two other things with the doctor and my knee is improving by the day Altogether I was very happy with the care and attention that was given to my problem

    I was with my previous practice for 60 years and it took a great deal of thought to move. How very luckly I am that I chose Gosford Health Centre. I have received nothing but kindness and help since I joined, all staff are available all the time and take such an interest in my wellbeing. Medication is being carefully reviewed and I am talked through every step, kindly and supportively. I thank every single one at the Centre from Reception and Nurses, through to Doctors for their help, consideration and care.

    Staff are always available to help with enquires, GP was excellent during a medical scare, was very calm but very honest which made me feel less anxious, have always had a good rapport with my GP, when I need to speak to her she makes herself available for us to talk as I have mental health issues as well physical, I can truly say that I trust her 100%, and l know that she does everything in my best interest
