I'm very happy with the service I receive from this surgery. Doctors and nurses are very polite and friendly and they do their best to arrange appointment even in diffucult times.

The flu campaign was timely and well organised. My only criticism is that it shouldn’t be too difficult to organise this with over 65’s and other at risk patients being seated indoors and sitting for 5 or 10 minutes after the injection rather than being injected standing and advised to leave straightaway.

My experience of receiving the annual flu jab at the surgery was excellent. The surgery contacted me directly, and I was able to book my appointment online through a handy link sent via text message. It couldn't have been easier. On the day of the appointment, the setup arrangements were all in place and appeared to be extremely well organised. All the staff, from the security person at the gate to the administrative staff and the nurse, were friendly and approachable, providing me with clear instructions on where to go. The entire process, from arrival to receiving the jab, took just a couple of minutes at most. I particularly like the outdoor clinic, which feels much less risky for those of us who are immunosuppressed compared to sitting in the waiting area. A huge well done and congratulations to the entire Gordon House Surgery team. I also want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for your care throughout the entire year. Keep up the great work. Best wishes.

I attended for a flu vaccine which was being offered in the car park. It was very efficient I arrived was checked in & received my vaccine, my appointment from start to finish lasted 3 minutes.

Well communicated via messaging. Easy to book via phone. In and out in less than one minute. Super efficient. Well organised for delivery. I was literally in and out. Brilliant

I'm attending the surgery for many years. I always find the receptions Drs and nurses very caring .the doctors are always very professional they never rush me and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them I always feel reassured that my needs were met as far as possible I was never refused an appointment. and the staff were always polite and helpful

Went for my annual flu jab in September. The set-up at Mattock Lane is the same as usual; several 'lanes' and plenty of people around to make sure you go to the right place. All very quick; I think I was in and out and vaccinated in less than a minute.

The care I've received has always been excellent and timely. It was great to get the flu vaccinations so early in the season. My recent experience of a telephone appointment was very good and addressed my questions.

We have been with this practice for a year now and I must say that this is so far the best Gp practice I have come across since moving to the Uk 16 years ago! The receptionists are very efficient, professional, friendly and helpful. They are very well trained and they always do their best to give an appointment especially when it's urgent. The medical staff who cared for us have all been extremely professional, efficient, kind, caring, polite and they listen to our concerns. They show compassion and empathy which makes us feel very safe and very well cared for. All our appointments with Gordon House Surgery have always been positive. They keep us informed and always sends Sms reminders about upcoming appointments. Thank you!

Too much digital for an 86 year old - Phone calls instead of face to face - too much comes in text messages - formerly I had at least 2 reviews a year face to face with my named Doctor - I've not seen him now since before COVID - post Covid things are a little different.
