Cannot fault this surgery one bit , amazing doctors and that young girl on reception is just incredible. Saw the tall dr today and he is so lovely and actually listens to you and makes you feel so valued as a patient.

I have been registered with this GP for a few years, and whilst not all encounters have been bad, there has been a few instances now where the Doctor's I have spoken with have been condescending, unprofessional and not very helpful. This is extremely disappointing as I feel all patients, regardless of what they are making appointments for, should feel validated and should come away from an appointment feeling as though they have had the help they are looking for, as expected from professionals; not to be patronised or made to feel foolish. To be more specific, I have had telephone appointments where I have been asked 'well what do you want me to do for you then?' This was asked after I had mentioned I was not able to attend the practice at an earlier time but could later in the evening to which I was told they were not seeing patients at a later time, and would also not give medication unless my child was seen or having breathing difficulties. This I can understand, but the manner and tone of this conversation as I stated previously was simply unprofessional and made me feel silly. To put it bluntly, I do not make appointments and put my trust into professional's to then be made to feel like I shouldn't have made an appointment in the first place. A doctor's practice in general is there to lend a helping hand, a safe space for a patient to speak about their problems. This is something I think Fryerns Medical Centre needs to take note of in the future.

Had nothing but problems with this surgery from trying to get appointments which they don't like to give out to be booked an appointment when the doctor wasn't even at the surgery to waiting times of 45mins to an hour on 3 occasions when I have managed to get appointments, the receptionist will give you every excuse in the book as to why you can't book an appointment.

Requested a copy of a blood test result by email at 13.35 and received the copy in an email at 14.10. Excellent service.

09/03/23 pm visit. Would like to say how prompt and professional the receptionist was today also thr doctor I see. I made a call and my problem was spoken with the doctor then they called me to come in straight away was dealt with by both staff excellent well done fryerns medical centre l!

Unfortunately today and in very recent time, I have had to deal with really mean, inpatient receptionist at the surgery. It’s important that this is looked into my the surgery; train receptionist to be kind, respectful, gentle and patient with patients. My experience this morning has ruined my entire day. How can a receptionist terminate a call with a patient; I wasn’t abusive, I was stating that I did not appreciate being put on hold after my phonecall had just been answered after being in the queue for 23mims - it’s important that emotional intelligence is at play here. If receptionist cannot handle the burden of being the doctors & nurses forerunners at the surgery, u fortunately they have no business taking calls of patients who are already in distress. That’s the only reason they are calling because they are in a bad space. It’s so unfortunate. I hope this is dealt with Asap. This has ruined my day!

I have great experience starting from when I called to make an appointment to seeing the doctor. The doctor listened to my concerns and issues and referred me as required. I am happy that as soon as the results came back, an appointment was made and the doctor called and spoke to me. I would recommend Freyerns Medical centre.

Great doctors appointment in the end I did take few days to finally get an appointments my problem has been resolved by the lovely doctors and receptionist I spoke to today

Easy to get an appointment and was seen within an hour of phone call appointment. Very nice dr and felt comfortable within the exam.

Prior to and after major surgery in July I have been in regular contact with the surgery and I have been fully supported by the doctors. The reception staff are also very supportive. The level of contact is exceptional and has made a difficult few months more bearable. I really appreciate their efforts and time given. Thank you
