    The admin/reception staff at this surgery are rude, awkward & unhelpful. You are a doctors surgery & I feel you need reminding of this. We are patients. I fully understand you are busy. If you spent as much time helping patients and being helpful & polite you may not need a over bearing sign saying “We will not tolerate abuse to our staff”. Whenever I see these signs placed in prominent positions it normally means “Our staff are so awkward & provocative we encourage the abuse we get”. I do not abuse or even raise my voice to staff personally, however I do understand patients frustrations at reception. A skilled receptionist can diffuse a situation quickly. Yours however are skilled at escalating it. Please remove these signs they would never stop a confrontation. Maybe the staff who feel the need to place these signs should take a long hard look at their attitude to patients. The hardest thing in any staff member to change is their attitude. Over 30yrs I have been a patient here. This is the first time I have felt the need to write a review.

    I want to thank the nurses for their excellent care. It has been a long slog (three years +) but no-one gave up on me and my leg has healed nicely. My mobility is much better so once again, thank you.

    I have been a patient for nearly 20 years. Usually, this practice are disorganised, but we are entering into a new phase of hyper aggressive staff who simply are not listening. I received an email to tell me I had to get my 10 yr old son to write a signed letter to the practice to confirm he wanted me to still have online access to his records. I was told by the receptionist this was a 'Legal Matter' and not their decision. After she directed me to the N H S website, we established it was 'guidance' issued by the General Medical Council and applies before their 13th birthday. I also explained our adopted son is covered by a care order, and therefore, we wouldn't need this (and it conforms this on the N H S website), but the receptionist still wouldn't listen and hung up on me. This is the latest in a long line of issues. The first being impossible to get appointments, but also, when I have made an appointment, failure to have the staff on site that day to carry out the tests that had been booked, and then unable to rebook appointments as they are full. What a shambles. A stain on the reputation of the nhs. Also, this n h s website won't let you write nhs in capitals. Why not?

    Have had nothing but good experiences from the staff and the conjoining day Lewis pharmacy. The staff go above and beyond to manage how they can with the resources they have. They deserve so much more funding than they currently receive. I have had many issues with conjoining services and today one of the staff on reception personally called my clinic to tell them they had sent the wrong document because I had been telling the clinic for a long time. Anytime I have an issue they listen and try their best to resolve it. I had an emergency the day before my first day of work and they managed to send it to a pharmacy near my place of work so I could access it and felt better on my first day. They work so hard and deserve more recognition.

    When you meet individuals at this practise, great service (especially their regular nurse who goes above and beyond) but trying to get an appointment is terrible. If you have not tried e consult before 08.10 - don’t bother. Our daughter is having mental health issues and our appointment for a phone consultation was over 4 weeks after requesting the appointment via e-consult. My prescription review is overdue. When I rang the surgery to discuss this, I was informed by a receptionist that I would need to submit another econsult. By the time I had my review, I had missed 10 days of my daily medication. The GP said this should not have happened and the receptionist had provided me with incorrect advice. The whole experience of booking appointments/ speaking to reception is very stressful especially when you are concerned about your child’s health.

You are welcome to contact the practice to discuss your individual healthcare needs where medication prescribing can be explained to you.     This practise has gone down hill dramatically! They keep cancelling appointments and same excuse short of staff! It’s not rocket science get locums in! Then you have to wait another 6 weeks for an appointment and then you’re told of you’re lucky and then you have to wait a week to speak to a professorial medically trained person! The receptionist think they are doctors/nurses and diagnose you over the phone and then you have to wait 1 hour and more to speak to speak to a receptionist of your lucky and then it’s the third degree and rude and abrupt and making you feel your a nuisance and bother! And then this unacceptable e consult and by 8.30 it states we have reached our capacity for today! That’s nonsense and why have the e consult and then you have to accept their cookies which is intrusive on your privacy! Used to be a great doctors and the staff are rude and unhelpful! I’d give this practise 0 and I’m sure my review won’t be approved as this doctors don’t like negative reviews! Then sort out the staffing and their attitudes

    There is no doubt that all practices are facing huge demand & having to find new ways to cope. I wanted to feedback that I was really satisfied with my recent experience. After an econsult I was contacted the next working day & seen at Tessa Jowell promptly. A referral to hospital was made the same day & my appointment came through without delay. Impressed! Well done Forest Hill Road!

    Do Not Join This GP They never want to book appointments, there never on hand to do there job, which is a shame because the nurses are lovely when you can get an appointment! they make you fill out a online form which takes ages with the same repeated questions to get a doctor to call you about results its needed to book appointments but takes them up to 3 days to get back to you they are a Joke....... 45min i was hold 45min for test results which i have waited over 7 weeks for, for the receptionist to tell me i need to fill out the form if i want to doctor to talk to me regarding this, went to fill the online form in for them to tell me they have had to many and i need to wait till 8am the next day!!! this is Why the hospitals are over run but GP cant do there Job!!!!

    Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that you had difficulty in accessing Accurx triage. It is open 8am Monday - Friday. When the number of online requests reaches capacity, the system closes automatically, Please try to open the system at 8:00am to submit your enquiry to avoid further disappointment. Please see below the surgery protocol of dealing with test results. • If the test results are alarming the patients are contacted by the doctors immediately. • If the results have to be discussed in the routine manner, the doctors send text message asking the patients to arrange a follow up appointment through accurx online. • If the results are normal, the doctors don’t message the patients, but you can see your results through online access (NHS App) or reception can provide this information over the phone. If any patient wants to discuss their results with a doctor, a follow up appointment can be requested through accurx online consultations where you will be contacted by a clinician within 1-2 working days If you like to discuss this further please contact the surgery and speak to the practice manager.     Partner’s bp average of 176/94 at home. on follow up in surgery with nurse - who called duty doctor who said to put in e consult request next week. Duty dr did not offer to come and see. No actual appointment offered. So many barriers to getting treatment. Place empty of patients any time you go in.
