Surgery is appaling to deal with - cant get an appointment unless you join the 8am scramble. I had a call with a callous GP who dropped in "you could have cancer" and since I've been stuggling to get a follow up meeting to find out what I do next. Spoke to the receptionist today after a hour wait who said I didn't have a follow up appt on the system and I should join tomorrows 8am appointment lottery. Management should be ashamed.

I have had to contact the surgery roughly 6-8 times over the past year for my son and I and on all occasions I have received outstanding service. Everything seems to be handled very professionally and in a timely manor. Every doctor I have seen has been amazing. The call handlers are so patient and understanding and always deal with my queries straight away when possible. Thank you for such great service.

Review titled Terrible phone booking system

The only way of booking with this practice is to call at 8am. This surgery doesn't allow for online bookings via Klinik or any other way on line. So on each occasion I have tried phoning, I have been in a queue for 51 minutes, 44 minutes and 41 minutes only to be told the appts had been taken up and to call back each time the following day. I know one of my sons should have a blood test and I know the other needs help for his mental health but I have no way of getting this across. I still haven't managed to get an appointment. Am now looking for a surgery that isn't under the Forest Health Group. Gainsborough used to be such a good practice. Never had issues then.

After waiting 58 minutes for my call to be answered last Thursday (and I called exactly at 8am!) I explained that I have two issues: 1) I had ear pain 2) a lump on my arm I was told that the nurse would see me for my ear pain at 10:20 and I would receive a separate call about the lump on my arm and this is deemed as super urgent. Today (Monday) I still had not received a call so I called at 10am and was 63rd in the queue. I tried again at 15:45 and got through. There was no record of them needed to call me apparently and I was told to call back at 8am tomorrow. If you like to queue, not receive calls or appointments for 'urgent' cases then this is the doctors for you. I am shocked to know that this practice can still open. Avoid this GP at all cost!!

i was calling for a 5 year old child with an ear infection and I am been told I need to call in the morning, because they can’t offer me any appointments today. I am working in the morning and can’t call or answer calls. Then I am being told to call 111 or call in the morning or somebody who is with him to call the doctors. The same happened 2 days in a row. I understand they are busy. That’s why I am calling today and asked to get an appointment the next day as is not urgent today and can’t call tomorrow. I just don’t understand, we are talking about a child who had antibiotics for the ear infection then some spray then drops and still it’s not getting better.
