    My daughter rang Friday concerned for her 8 week old baby told she’d get a call back that day but nothing , she rang today Monday to see why no one had called to be told she can’t be seen until Thursday !! What happened to the dr calling , then my daughter asked for a smear test appt to the receptionist huffing and tutting like it’s to much trouble , baring in mind when she did call on the Friday she was number 36 waiting to be answered and cut off twice, I’ve called several times and have been number 42, 38, 26 I don’t have half a day to wait that long and think as it’s a baby she should of had a call….what’s wrong with the staff there’s no need for rudeness …I’ve been on hold for 2 hours before waiting to get through it should not be like this trying to get an appt especially for a new born

    I'm not one to complain but this by far is the worst group of GP surgeries I've ever dealt with. (Ringmead Group) I don't think it's necessarily down to the GPs as I think they are under far to much pressure! The GP app great idea but now it's really a thorn in the GPS side if they got no time to call back etc where's the time to go through every message on the app that's why it takes days, also doesn't help when u contact any 1 of the surgeries to be up in the 40s waiting in a que that really is crazy then you get through and it seems a chore if I ask something that may put them out but again I'm not saying all are, Important medication that was monthly that they changed to weekly via my prescription delivery service medication that is controlled and then don't sign it in time and I run out of medication which can be quite dangerous and again you ring to sort it because waiting 2 plus days for a reply on my GP app is far to long even the prescription company made a complaint. On top of that when you medication for your mental health is changed and the team send all the relevance to the GP it gets over looked emails don't get read and if they do they miss out s couple of requested test and say they wasn't requested even when I have s copy of the same email that was sent. I'm not sure on the policy here but being straight a honest must be your priorities and at the very least communicating with patients! Being that high in the queue causes much more stress and frustration on top of the condition you are contacting in the first place. The system is massively floored good concept but patients are still ringing because we are just not getting replies in a timely manner on the GP app
