Every time I go to get my repeat prescription, it never seems to end up at the pharmacy. I end up being the middle man having to remind Elvington medical practice to send my prescription to my pharmacy. Pure frustration from using there repeat prescription services

I had a wonderful surprise this week. I received a text message informing me that my medication was ready to collect from the dispensary at the practice. For some time I have had to wait 2 weeks before collecting my prescription but this time it was just 2 working days! I gather from their website that they have being working hard to get on top of it all. What ever they have done, it seems to have worked. Thank you for your fantastic efforts.

The surgery at Elvington has, in my opinion, a fantastic structure, that is fit for purpose and strikes the right balance between acute and routine appointments. For acute problems, my family has always been seen the same day. Just today, my son came home from school with an acute issue and even calling the survey at 16:15, a GP saw him before 18:00. It is a great example of how things can be done. If there is common sense by both surgery and patient, everyone can have their needs attending to in an appropriate way. Thank you, and keep up the great work!
