    Huge thank you to the lovely receptionists at the Ecclesall Surgery. Kind, helpful & professional. Of the four receptionists at Ecclesall that I have spoken to in the last 10 days (on behalf of my husband), they have all been so helpful & understanding. I’m so very grateful. They do a difficult job with compassion & professionalism. Thank you.

    On 3 occasions recently I needed to contact a GP. I use their recently introduced Triage form (don’t know what its official name is), and each time I’ve been called by a GP within a few hours, today within 5 minutes ! That way I can get a prescription or a sample bottle or a face to face appointment quickly - if that is judged what is needed. No need to wait in the phone, or make an unnecessary appointment. I love this system and it’s great they’ve introduced it!

    Trying to call this surgery is sending my anxiety through the roof! I made a call yesterday and after 30mins waiting I still didn’t get an appointment! I visited the surgery on the 2nd Oct and I was told i would need a review within one month and I would get a phone call to make an appointment. I never got that call !! Apparently there wasn’t a note saying this so basically I must have made it up! After the call I received a text with an appointment on the 30th Oct but guess what I can’t make that appointment because I have to work! Since when did this change where they issue your appointment like a hospital appointment rather than you have options. So now this will be another phone call and no doubt it will be they send me another appointment! The reason I need to see a doctor is because my anxiety is so bad but this is actually making it worse. What had happened to this practice? This used to be such a good practice and you could make a phone call with a small waiting time and be issued an appointment at your convenience. Mental health is on the the rise and there is zero support out there unless you pay private. I have worked all my adult life and paid into the system so I don’t think it’s much to ask for a little bit back do you?

    I have been with Ecclesall Medical Practice for many years now. I have always found the Receptionists, nurses and GPs to be friendly, helpful and caring. On my most recent visits the receptionists have taken the time to listen carefully, understand and resolve any issues.

    I have been a patient at Ecclesall Medical Centre for a number of years and have always received excellent care. I recently used the new system for making appointments etc and at first thought it rather difficult as I am almost 80. However I persevered I would like to say I am very impressed with the simplicity of it and it will hopefully benefit both staff and patients alike. My thanks to all the staff and Doctors at the practice for their dedication and care.

    I would like to say on behalf of my family I have found the practice helpful friendly at all times. I think the NHS is under such enormous pressure and they continue to deliver a first class service.

    I went yesterday for my annual diabetes check, it was my second appointment. In both appointments the nurses were very professional, kind and knowledgeable. I received very good advise and as usual I leave these meetings feeling at ease. Thank you for your advice and for your excellent work

    The receptionist on duty during my phone call and subsequent visit to the surgery was friendly, calm, clear speaking and helpful. The Dr I saw, listened attentively to my problems, only interrupting to ask pertinent questions. A small test was organised and he will follow up when the results are back. The practice is obviously busy, but the staff I saw never made me feel rushed or hurried which, being an OAP, was comforting and inspired confidence.

    I received a phone call within a few days after explaining that it wasn’t urgent . I was listened to and tests were agreed to be done which happened very quickly . I received a phone call with the results which were explained in a simple and understandable way

    Suffered extreme lightheadedness. Rang the surgery for advice and help. After filling in a short triage questionnaire on line the doctor responded within the hour and I saw a locum doctor at the surgery within an hour and a half. I answered many questions and he gave me a thorough examination and check up. He advised the necessary follow up and we were able to book in for the necessary blood tests and follow up appointment with a doctor with the receptionist immediately.
