I would like to praise the nurses and doctors as well as receptionist who took the call when my daughter was unwell. I was given calls back quickly and seen to as well. The care I was shown was great and I really appreciate it. Thank you

  2. Review titled Great G P practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I find all the team incredibly helpful and value their support. We recently had our postnatal check and vaccinations and it was a really good experience. I felt the care was very kind and holistic. The doctor doing the check was thorough and caring. The nurse doing the vaccinations was kind and thoughtful. The administrator even kindly organised the appointments on the same day. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good gp practice. The admin team are helpful and organised. The nurses are really expert in their areas. The doctors are hugely experienced and knowledgeable, as well as kind. When we have needed urgent care it has been available.

  4. Review titled inappropriate decisions

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had some chest/heart issues. Besides numerous calls in September the GP practice eventually refered me to AE. I went to the hospital and was treated. My condition didnt improve and I ended two more times in AE. I had concern for my heart. After returning from AE I called the GP and informed on the case. I was told that the AE notes will be passed to the doctor and to call on the next day for doctors assessment. I called only to find out that the reception had made the decision not to do anything. I am not sure that they have ever passed the notes to the doctor for assessment. The receptionist at the time was shouting in my ear and making the decision clear of what she things it is. Based on situation itself I am not confident that the receptionist understands accountability for making decision on behalf of the doctor. I also was told that the practice has no time frame on responding to patients. That completely wiped out the meaning of word "care".

  5. Review titled Knowledgeable nurse practitioner

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The lovely nurse practitioner was so patient with my rambling on and asked me so many questions. She was so thorough and went through so many things with me and explained so much that nobody had in the past. I left with such a feeling of relief after my visit that I would be looked after by a total professional person who also has compassion. Highly recommend based on this lady’s care.

  6. Review titled Care not applied

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My mom suffers from blood pressure and pills were stopped round March 2023. A call the surgery was done on 07 September 2023 requesting review of the prescriptions and assessing how the blood pressure need to be managed. A telephone appointment was booked for 25th September at 17:00 and no one called. In fact they even didn't bother to review how appointments are addressed and if there are omissions. Now 10 October 2023, no action has been taken from the practice.

  7. Review titled The quality has declined so much

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 July 2023

I joined this practice 10 years ago in 2012. I was very pleased with the service at that time. But the quality has declined so much over the years especially after the pandemic. It is very difficult to get a face to face appointment. Even during a phone appointment, the GPs are in a mighty hurry to finish the call and do not give full attention to what the patient is trying to describe.

The practice is good but I have complaint. Two weeks ago I received a phone call from GP . She said I should make an appointment because my biopsy results came and I should see the doctor and she said it important. I really worried what happened . My results show cancer. I really sad and it effect to my mind. When yesterday I met the doctor she said there’s nothing to worry. I request please first confirm then phone the patient. This was really bed experience. Thank you

  9. Review titled Genuine improvement of this GP

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Piyali Das - Posted on 02 May 2023

I have been seeing this GP for an year and have seen serious improvements made over time. Their online system is much improved with econsult, referral and repeat prescription facilities. Additionally, I did get a couple of same day appointments if you manage to call in early. I understand that NHS is backlogged and providing care for everyone is not easy but this GP practice demonstrates genuine attempts to provide care for its patients.

  10. Review titled Very poor practice, patient experience again!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 March 2023

Yet another repeat poor experience in our family at this surgery compounded by the reception sentinels being unhelpful when I called earlier this week. A presecription should have been issued in January this year and we have only just found this out via a hospital who have emailed us to confirm this surgery were supposed to provide this prescription which was very much needed. If you/your family are thinking of registering for healthcare at this surgery, then be prepared for long waiting times and to beg if you are in urgent need of help.
