   I have been a patient at Douglas Grove for 12 years and a few years ago you couldn’t get through on the phone and appointments were hard to come by. I hadn’t been for a few years but in the last year have had a few appointments. The new phone system has made things a lot easier. You may have to wait but you at least know how many people are ahead of you. I have always been able to get same day appointments with Nurse practitioner or Dr or Telephone appointments when I don’t need to be seen in person. For non-emergencies I have been able to book online for appointments within a week. When being seen in person it has been on time or within 15mins of my appointment time (and that was only because they were a Dr down). It has been a pleasant surprise to see the changes. They have clearly worked hard to improve the patient experience.
