    My father is a patient of this practice and has cancer. He needed urgent pain relief and admission to hospital &, despite my call to the practice being at 18.25, the receptionist who took my call was amazing & helped to get the GP out to see my dad (who did so on their day off & to whom we are also incredibly grateful) & to ultimately support us in getting dad admitted to hospital which was what he needed. As a family we could not be more grateful for the care and compassion shown to us by the practice and the way that the receptionist and the GP went above and beyond, out of hours & on a day off, in order to access the care that my dad needed. You have our sincere thanks & gratitude for being so caring and supportive at such a difficult time.

    I've been living in Chorlton for two years and I tried to do an appointment with the doctor and I can't because I'm inactive!! Today I filled out the form for the third time!! now I have to wait a month to see if I can make the appointment or I'll have to fill out the form again!! Please, I need to see the doctor, I have a great pain in my knees

    Doctors are on short hours, over the last week and more than 500 calls starting at 8 in the morning I have still not been able to get an appointment for my vulnerable mum. They just don't care. Only one line to call in which is always engaged from 8am.

    This morning, I made 193 phones calls to get a simple appointment for my daughter. There is one line to book appointments that is constantly engaged from 8am as this is the only method to book an appointment. Once you get an appointment, the overall service isn't too bad but the appointments can be hard to come by but it's hardly surprising - just last month, I had to make two appointments with the doctor before I was able to see the physio another three weeks later. Each time I need an appointment, I dread that morning I need to call the doctors to get that appointment! The opening hours on the NHS website are misleading - the reception might be open but quite often, the doctors start later and on some days, they only work half a day!
