Have a soft tissue infection called the GP to get a phone call to request antibiotic cover for Dental visit, baring in mind I have chronic heart conditions, there is no Doctor in the welling branch today! I would have to travel the Plumstead for a face to face appointment, asked when the next available appointment is was told I have to call on Thursday as they are not booking appointments! Awful practice

Nobody answers the phones, left waiting for over 40 mins waiting to make an appointment. Very poorly managed practice.

Horrendous! cannot get appointments with a doctor as nobody answers phone - rings off the hook constantly or an answer phone message about coronavirus! Always says more than 10 people waiting whatever time you ring - absolute rubbish and then cuts off what kind of doctors practice is this? They need reporting absolutely disgraceful treatment of patients. Trying to get a referral letter to a private doctor but unable to get this as can’t get through!!! Meanwhile my child continues to suffer due to this - why??? I could go on and on about this disgraceful surgery but would be here until eternity.

Impossible to get an appointment to see a doctor face to face. I spoke with a doctor who referred me for multiple blood tests and asked me to book a face to face appointment due to the results of my blood test. I have tried calling the surgery multiple times to book an appointment but the phone just rings out with no answer. The one time the receptionist did answer the phone, I was advised (very rudely) that I would need to call on either a Tuesday or Thursday morning between 8:30-9:30 to get an appointment booked. When trying to call within this time, all I ever got was a recorded message telling me there was more than 10 people in the queue then the line would cut off. I still to this day have not had my appointment with the doctor( who actually asked me to book in to see him) so let’s hope that my blood test results that he wanted to discuss with me were not fatal.

Review titled Doctor only works one day a week in both of the Surgeries

It is easy to get a telephone appointment with the Medical Practitioner but not a Doctor. The Receptionist advised the Doctor only works on a Tuesday in the Welling Surgery & a Wednesday in the Plumstead Surgery. No future appointments can be booked. You have to phone first thing in the morning for telephone appointment that day. Good luck because everyone is calling. Eventually I did manage to get a telephone appointment with a doctor but an hour before the call the receptionist called me to advise that the doctor is sick. Therefore I won’t be getting a call. They can’t rearrange I need to call again first thing in the morning. To date I still don’t have an appointment.
