    Phoned up yesterday to see doctor, my daughter was very poorly, to be told by god dam answer phone no appointments left, so stayed on line for emergency, to be told triage would phone some time in afternoon, how can someone on the end of a phone tell me what’s up with you with out seeing you???, probably getting same money as telephone appointments, as to seeing face to face as this would take a bit longer and they talk to you for 2 minutes on phone so get more appointments done this way, hence more money!!! this doctors has gone to the dogs, gone are the days when you could ring up , speak to a friendly lady and book an appointment, heard lots of nice things about white rose surgery , I will be changing GP

    I registered online (no confirmation on f registration) Called 2 weeks later to be told I was registered 2 weeks ago… booked an appointment, when I registered the image was of the surgery in crossgates so assumed that was the practice. When booking the appointment I was not made aware that Shaftesbury was a separate place by the receptionist. Went to my appointment to be told I was in the wrong place. No confirmation of this on the phone or via text!! Receptionist has caused me to waste an apportionment time and now not get the check up needed! If the only image is going to be of the crossgates surgery and you know someone is booking an appointment that has just registered do a better job and explain there are surgery’s in different places and actually confirm where they need to go! Absolutely furious

    Since Church View surgery was taken over by Maritime Health I find it most difficult to make an appointment to see a doctor. Before this company took charge there was the app to book in advance with a doctor but this has been done away with this and now we have 5 different surgeries all with the same phone number. I have been told that the amount of patients has gone from 5,000 to 30,000 all with the same telephone number which to me is simply stupid. We are told there is a dedicated group of telephone operators but when you phone you often find you are number 23 or some ridiculous number in line to be answered. You used to be able to see practically all your medical records but now they just let you see the basic information through the NHS app which this surgery uses, the previous was EMIS/ Patients Access.

    Doctors are fantastic, very though, nice, they listen to you, I've always been able to get a telephone appointment when I ring, reception staff are helpful and when GP rang after explaining my symptoms I was asked to get to the surgery as soon as possible they are very supportive.
