    This doctors’ practice provides outstanding and excellent service to its patients.
 I rung at 8:00am and explained my ‘problem’ to Reception and was offered an appointment and seen at 10:00am on the same morning . 
The new surgery is first class and offers great health facilities The Reception staff were helpful, friendly and reassuring. 
I saw the doctor who listened very carefully to my explanations and the. suggested appropriate treatments including making an appointment for me to see a hand specialist at the hospital. She was very reassuringly. 
I feel very lucky to have such a great doctor and GP Clinic here in Acton

    This used to be a fairly well run practice. Now one of the principal GPs works only two days a week and the rest of the week she works privately. There is no male GP. It is no longer possible to make appointments, and most urgent appointments are by telephone. There is no time to discuss or manage long term chronic conditions, resulting in patients not receiving adequate care.

    Dear Patient, Further to your recent comments, please accept our apologies for the poor level of service you feel you have received from the surgery. It is correct that the principle GP only works part time at the practice as it is an individual choice to work full time or part time. This however does not in any way impact the care provided to our patients as other Doctors are always available during surgery opening hours and patient care will never be compromised. With regards to our appointment structure, this has remained relatively unchanged for the past 8 years whereby all appointments are initially triaged by the Doctor on duty and depending on the clinical needs a face to face appointment is arranged directly by doctor. Appointment time will be agreed mutually. Again, we are sorry that our surgery did not meet your expectations and would welcome you to contact us directly to discuss it further.     The doctor was reading my test results incorrectly as she was looking at another date and if it wasn’t for me who told her she was wrong she would not have noticed. She was very much in a rush and had no time for me when I tried to pose some questions. Incredibly bad attention to detail and service. Over and above the receptionist was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. I am changing GP’s this week as they certainly don’t care about people’s health.

    Dr.O'Connell's team has been looking after our family for over 15 years now and her team has always provided us great care whether it was for urgent appointments for minor illnesses for our children or for elective travel vaccinations. Communication is clear and the staff are friendly.
