  1. Review titled Cannot get through!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My experience is so similar to every review on here - the GPs at this practice on the whole, are good, once you finally(!) manage to get through on the phone to arrange an appointment. I was waiting for over an hour on hold, being at position number 4 for over half of that time, a couple of weeks ago - only to still not get through after that time, so I gave up! And I have symptoms that all the NHS materials tell me need to be checked out by a GP ASAP... but I cannot get through, so I have put it off. If I go in person I am told to call to make an appointment. I have just tried to call again, I was waiting on the line for it to be answered - the line was cut off and I am trying to call back but am now getting the 'line busy' tone... how do I get through? My son is very ill with his asthma, do I take him to hospital? At this time of year? and have my poorly seven year old sitting in A&E for hours on end? I am at my wits end with this...

  2. Review titled Good Service with this exception.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I received text message to book appointment for blood test. today I have tried to book an appointment on the phone. For the last 30minutes I have been number one for a call. This is obviously not correct, maybe the navigator is at lunch and thats fine but leave a message to save patients waiting this length not only is it frustrating it also increases the phone bill. I have no complaints with the Surgery but this wait for an appointment does seem unreasonable. It is now 14.00 and I have given up waiting

  3. Review titled pharmacy incomepetence

Rated 3 stars out of 5

For the past nine months, I seem to be getting nowhere with my complaint about the pharmacy's incompetence to sort out where to send my prescription it is sent to one of any three pick-up points, and I neither know which one to go to and end up going to all three. I just wish somebody could sort it for me

  4. Review titled Care navigation lacks care

Rated 1 star out of 5

Unfortunately this practice has gone extremely downhill. In my experience, the GPs have been helpful and supportive once you have got through to them but getting to that point is a task. The ‘care navigators’ are rude, abrupt and unhelpful, particularly one member of staff who I have made a formal complaint about and received no response. They do not care for you, and are unwilling to help you even in desperate situations and will happily put the phone down on you as soon as possible.
