    Appreciate that a receptionist job is hard! But they need empathy and training on how to deal with patients who worried about a condition they might have! Found the receptionist very harsh rude, talking over you!! Not listening! Words used not appropriate! I am well aware that calls are recorded perhaps you could use theses as training material! Aware appointments are a premium! But some things need to be seen sooner rather than later! This has resulted in myself going private! I had been advised by a pharmacist and a GP I see my GP urgently! Unfortunately it happens to fall on a Bank holiday! I have been left disappointed to say the least and truly see how lack of resources, pay and not properly trained staff is impacting on GP staff! Empathy first! Not talking over patients! Listening then trying to resolve the patients problem Not being told Well! We have nothing! Have you been to a pharmacy! I’ll have to speak to my line manager! With a sarcastic tone! Knowing full well I will just be told to call back at 12! Perhaps is they had listened they would have known I’d been to the pharmacy I’ve had a GP where I work look at it and had been advised to get it checked as ASAP!

    I cannot praise the receptionist who dealt with my call highly enough, she was efficient friendly and helpful.

    I just wanted to express my gratitude and say thank you to Cheam Family Practice Parkside Branch for promptly fitting me in to see the duty GP, Monday 21 August, at very short notice. I was also moved by the sympathy and kindness of the receptionists in particular. The medication prescribed seemed to do the trick with no side effects whatsoever and I appear to have fully recovered. Many thanks again!

    The staff on reception are very professional and friendly. The GPs and practice nurse that I’ve experienced over the years have been knowledgable, thorough and caring. I want to thank them for doing such a great job in sometimes difficult circumstances. They are an example of how a good GP practice should be run.

    Most staff, medical and admin, give very good customer service which makes them pleasant to deal with. I believe there has been a significant improvement with regard to receptionists. Medical staff are very competent, thorough and caring. Accessibility with serious matters has been good. Ring back telephone system very helpful. I believe patients should have 1 assigned GP. I wouldn't expect to always see them but definitely for long term health issues and serious short term problems. This allows a rapport to develop and GPs to know a patients history and changes in conditions. It would also give GPs a feedback loop for treatments, ownership and, I believe, job satisfaction; as it would be less "production line".

    The dr was brilliant, listened and I didn’t feel rushed. The practice decor needs an overhaul, the reception is ropey and it would have been nice to have been welcomed by the receptionist, but was totally ignored by her.

    I rang this morning and was greeted by a really helpful receptionist that booked me with the GP most appropriate for my needs. The doctor that I saw was extremely helpful, informative and reassuring. He gave me the time to ask questions and addressed all my concerns. We are so lucky to have such a great practice.     I have been with this practice for a while, wanted to move but nowhere else is taking patients on. Waiting a month for a ten minute phone conversation is not really acceptable. Regular mistakes in sharing documentation, arranging follow ups, always locums who are difficult to deal with and unsympathetic. End up being forced to go private for any decent care, which isn't an option to a massive portion of the population.
