  1. Review titled Very Helpful

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Although it turns out I didn't need the appointment in the first place my Dr was very helpful in getting me to the next step and pointing me to the right contacts and other options if those contacts failed. Thanks again (Tried to add the doctor's name to praise him but it won't let me)

  2. Review titled StAndrews practice lack of staff

Rated 3 stars out of 5

There was only one receptionist trying to deal with a queue of patients. She was friendly and helpful but it needed another receptionist on duty also to help her reduce the queuing time for those waiting.

Very pleasant, informative and helpful review. Nurse took blood and tickled my feet. Was slightly later than appointment but only 10 minutes.

  4. Review titled Really good

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Emily - Posted on 15 August 2023

I saw a gp on the same day I did Dr iQ, which I was really impressed with. I felt listened to, I got the medication I needed and was given clear advice on after care. The GP was very professional and friendly.

  5. Review titled Great experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 June 2023

My teenager book their first appointment on their own through the app. Was given a first class experience, was treated as a person in their own right even though I sat in as a parent. Advice and explanation was all given to the teenagers ability to understand. Information about what they were checking for and why was explained in a very calm informative way. I was very impressed. Too many times we all want to complain at the moment but I wanted to give back something good that in my opinion went above and beyond. Excellent experience. Thank you

  6. Review titled Dr iq consultation not fit for purpose

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 July 2023

I submitted an online consultation on Dr Iq after phoning and not getting a reply from the triage team after over a week. Now the online consultation is still pending after a week. It’s impossible to get any help.

  7. Review titled Great people, but systems need improvement

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Whenever my wife and are are able to obtain face to face appointments the Doctors, Nurses and Support Staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and professional, for which we are very grateful. Wherever possible now we try to avoid attending or calling the Practice. However, the online systems are very clunky to use. In particular the desktop based access to e-consult seems to have been removed. Please remember that this country has an ageing population, many of whom do not wish to use, or trust, mobile phones for such sensitive information. Also, it would be very helpful if e-consult could issue a system-generated response to confim receipt of a completed e-consult. Recently we waited over 48 hours for a response from the Practice (Against a quoted response time of same day) and in the end resorted to telephoning to ensure that our consult had in fact been received. The same auto acknowledgment could include a guide to what would happen next and the anticipated response time.

  8. Review titled Caring and understanding

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 March 2023

During my doctor appointment today I felt listened to, cared for and understood. My concerns were taken seriously, next steps were discussed with me and the examination was done in a professional and discrete manner. I came away feeling reassured and in good knowledge that if symptoms continue I can return and begin for their investigation. The appointment was prompt and in depth. I was also greeted at reception and guided to the screen to sign myself in.

  9. Review titled No appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

This is my GP and i can never get a appointment with them. I always get told to call 111. As my GP there suppose to see me and have a duty of care. They never reviewed me when i was on antidepressants it was very rare when they did. They never can see or even speak with me on the phone, I have regular uti’s and can’t get antibiotics for them. They don't respond quick to anything that’s urgent, i think unfortunately they don’t have much staff. Whenever i call the receptionist are not friendly and straight away tell me they cant help and there’s no appointments. I cant call 111 every time something is wrong, I’ve still not had my smear test and i honestly have no idea how i’m going to even get that booked probably have to call 111

  10. Review titled Worse doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 January 2023

It was such a bad experience as the doctor was not even listening to us. My mother doesn’t speak English and when she was speaking in our language to explain the doctor seems irritated and she was just focused on to kick us out. Very bad experience with us. She treated very badly with my 70 years old mom. It is obvious that an old person takes time to act and even when she is not well but the doctor was rushing us. I hope nobody else have to deal with her. I don’t want her to giggle or laugh but she didn’t even smiled once .my mom was so disappointed and we decided to take her to our own country for the further check up.
