    Today is Thursday I have had no response from the surgery all week, after submitting a e-consult request on Monday. My symptoms have gotten worst, I was on hold today for over an hour, whilst on hold I walked to the surgery. The receptionist added me to the list, whilst in the surgery a doctor popped out and dealt with me there and then. I couldn't believe how easy and quickly i was helped. Thank you for the doctor who listened and took steps to resolve my medical problem. Thank you to the receptionist who managed me in person. What is sad, is that there is no dignity in having to share my embarrassing symptoms in the reception area and that i had to walk to the surgery to get help. Thankfully I am able to do so.

    Had my cervical screening appointment, the nurse was great and made me feel really comfortable. Ran through very helpful information and made sure I was happy with everything. I was initially worried before the appointment but afterwards everything was great and handled so well.

    I emailed bmc about having verrucas removed. I was eventually emailed back and told to call to book a time to have them treated. The receptionist (after 15 minutes of waiting on the phone, which I'm tempted to bill them for) she had no knowledge of the email (despite it coming from the reception), she had no knowledge of if the treatment was available on the NHS and could not book an appointment of any kind because their system basically demands a £15 phone call of a morning, half an hour of getting angry and prayer. I know it's a cliche to criticise surgery receptionists but good lord, what an utter waste of time.

    After a misunderstanding on my part and then being misinformed. I spoke to a receptionist this evening who was very helpful and understanding. These are trying times and frustrating for many of us. But I got to speak to someone who helped and gave me the telephone appointment I wanted. Thank you

    I have phoned twice in 2 days to request to speak to a GP about obtaining a sick note first call on 4 October 1 hour and 20 minutes on hold only to be told to call back the next day no interest in my health or questions about my heath just told to call back at 8am the next day. Called today 30 minutes on hold only to be told I cannot get a sick note for covid not offered any appointment with a doctor and yet again no interest taken or questions asked about my health. A totally demoralising experience and I am no closer to getting medical help. Appallingly bad

    Waiting for an asthma review since being put on a temporary prescription in March 2022. Every time I call it’s a 45 minute wait time to then hear an excuse that there are no appointments available or the asthma nurse isn’t available. I have tried to call, consult online form for an appointment and I’m getting no where. The lady I spoke to in October said I can’t move practices and I just have to wait and try again later. I am in desperate need for an asthma review to see if I am on the right medication, I’d hate to be ill and needing emergency attention because this practice duty of care was neglected.

    I assume that the practice pays for sending sms messages, even when they are wrong. Today, I am informed that according to their records, I am a smoker. I quit smoking before I ever registered here 18 years ago. I wonder what other information is incorrect on my file?

    Only waited about 5 minutes after my appointment time. Doctor was extremely thorough and professional, explained my medical problems in a way that was easy to understand and which gave me a lot of confidence in the diagnosis. I would definitely recommend this practice to my friends and family.

    Trying to book an appointment at this surgery is bad enough but even worse when you get one of the terrible receptionists. Rude , unhelpful , not confidential at all and left me feeling lower than I already did. This is the second time I have experienced this at the surgery since January and as I’m suffering with depression and anxiety and wanting to speak to my GP as a follow up review this service was crippling for me. There are nice receptionists here too but it’s pot luck if you get one on the phone or at the desk. The GPs are lovely just a real shame anyone has to endure the terrible receptionists.
