On several occasions over the last few weeks I have tried to call the practice to arrange appointments. Each time the number has been constantly engaged with no call queueing facility. This has meant making multiple calls before I could even join a call waiting queue. On one occasion I called over 300 times before getting into a queue and even them waited a further 40 minutes before the call being answered.

I moved to Bridge Street about 10 years ago and have had numerous interactions with the medical professionals there. I cannot praise the entire service enough from the doctors, nurses and front of house receptionists. Everyone has treated me with respect, dignity and professionalism. During lockdown when appointments were necessarily curtailed it was always possible to speak to a doctor or nurse, the receptionists were always there to sort out repeat prescriptions and the like my husband and I had no problems at all. I have without doubt the best GP I have ever had, I am only sorry I cannot name her, she is always thorough and does not rush you through an appointment I have every confidence with her care. This also applies to the other doctors in the practice and the wonderful nursing team. Thank you Bridge Street I am in safe hands.
