On the 27th of November, 2023, I called Bridge Lane Group Practice to book an appointment. I was told there are no advance appointments available. The receptionist didn't know when the appointments might become available and could not advise when I should try calling back. The only offered options were: calling at 8 am for the same day appointment, which I also tried before, and it is a mission impossible to get through the queue, not to mention that you should be ready to drop everything and run there the same day should you happen to get lucky. Alternatively, I was offered to come in to the practice on Tuesday or Thursday at 7 am and try my luck that way. This is ridiculous not to be able to book an advance appointment over the phone!!!

The GP that visited my dad yesterday is amazing. She always puts me at ease. She always keeps me updated. The reception staff are always helpful

Unfortunately I missed an appointment to see a nurse as I was delayed in school. I went to apologise at reception. I was told that I might still be seen by the re eptionist and in fact the nurse fitted me in at the end of the morning session. I was delighted at the response even though it was my fault. Full marks and much gratitude.

I had my smear test done today by a wonderful nurse who made my day! She was very nice, professional and caring which made me feel relaxed and very well looked after. Thank you!

Thankyou to everyone here. I have been a patient for over 20 years and have always been happy with the care I have received. Recently I needed a lot of help following an accident. All the staff - nurses, doctors, physios - have been excellent and I have been very well cared for. I am particularly impressed by the physio service - on site - which was so effective for my needs and prompt in being available to me. The receptionists are very friendly - sometimes I have had to wait a long time on the phone despite being told I am first in the queue - and then it rings off, but generally manage to get same day appointments if I call at 8am and wait 30 mins or so.

Very happy with Bridge Lane and especially my doctor who is fantastic. Sometimes it can be difficult to get appointments as they book up so need to ring on the day.
