My wife has a scaly red rash on Rt foot past 3/4 days ,very itchy , arranged appointment on phone ,was told to send photo of the lesion which was promptly sent . However on arrival the reception would not allow the patient to be seen, ‘ saying he is very busy’ waited in the waiting room for about an hr and left without being seen.The Doctor latter returned my call , told him that the lesion was spreading and she may be tracking cellulitis. He became quite Irate , saying I had been abusive to the receptionist without mentioning what I had said, was going to send me warning letter with a view to taking me off his list. Meanwhile, he was going to send prescription for anti fungal cream to pharmacist. Hope she is not developing cellulitis.

No services , like phlebotomy, or practice nurse . Even for post operative check ups or change of dressing etc you are told to see pharmacist. A very bizarre advise. Having worked in NHS for all my life never seen such a dismal care.

Since joining this practice about a year and a half ago I have always found the medical and nursing team members to be excellent, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. The reception team, less so. Some receptionists are very pleasant, polite and helpful, others are rude, dismissive, clearly bored, talk over you and try to rush you off the phone, as I just experienced with one receptionist. Really disappointing and this person really lets down what is otherwise a brilliant team.
